Thats not the problem I'm having. When I play vs the computer, I like to build bulk defenses at choke points so i dont have to worry about them coming running when I'm out crusading. But these bastards just come and fucks over my whole defense from a range of which I can do nothing (the Star Base can kill them, but it takes AGES). I bought a few days ago and I have been playing it a bit here and there. Usually I play huge multi star maps with as many AI as possible, all on hard and with unlocked teams. Dunno why I just prefer it this way. Anyway my first glimts from TEC's point of view was awesome. Actually thats far from eachother if I can say so without sounding arrogant. However I like to pay on big maps, the biggest often, with as many AI as possible. The lag I enounter isn't beyond playable, but I most assume that this is due to bad coding, and not cause of the hardware.

My system is: Q6600 3.0 GHz OC GTX 280 OC 780i Nforce 4 GB DDR2 Now I think we can agree this should be able to handle it max settings right? Well I have noticed that as soon I as I add Blooming, everything starts to lag immediately, even from the very start. But I gotta say I enjoy the little additions to the game, and I find it worth the small amount of cash I paid for it :) good job

I have been playing for a few hours now, and i cant help but notice that my game minidump crashes consistently with creating Star bases. Its not everytime, but it is provoking. I have started saving everytime I create one, and it has helped it somewhat. Also, I run Vista Premium Home Edition 64 bit.

It doesn't really matter why I want this, I just do! how the hell do I turn it off? Also, any ideas on how to reduce the stress on the PC when playing this? A friend and I is trying to play together, with my high end PC, and a laptop. Lets just say the Laptop doens't to very well after an hour or so.

Hey everyone My first few games were so easy it hurt my intelligence. Locked teams and normal AI's.
