No missions from the AI's.. They just sit there and tell you how much they dislike you.
What are you talking about? that is realistic because that is exactly what I would do in a game. (joke) I wonder if the missions for the pirates are worth it in relation to spending that much money on ships to attack yourself. I guess it still works even if you are low on metal or something. great for traders. </p

Totally got a crash. Don't really know what happened, I wasn't paying attention. Had starbases up, just kinda wandored off feeling that my allies would protect me. (I wanted to see if the new AI would cause computers to work together to actually win a game on their own against a hard computer AI or 2. All I was doing was securing our system with bases) And for that I was "soaking" it, so the ga
Woot, what a pleasant surprise to install impulse to
I always did find pirates were the most effective targets for mines. I also found for the most part enemy AI players still can't deal with advent mine attacks (you come in on the edge of the system and place a bunch of mines... then wait for their capital ship to come to you.
for the record, I think I like it better than building your demigod. If you built your demigod, the balancing nightmare would be a different ballpark, and it likely wouldn't be very fun to play because when you are a new player coming to the game you'd be overrun instantly by experienced players who know "what combos work". As it stands that still happens, but it is much easier to see what works when you're limited to the abilities given to a single demigod. <p
I think "final micro expansion" means that after Diplo the next "micro" will just be included in the $30 full expansion, right?
I'm not even sure what you are asking. There are 2 micro expansions. They will come together as 1 retail box. If (when) there is another not-micro expansion, it will likely have its own box I'd imagine. I've heard there will be discounts available to people who already own the 1st 2 expansions, in t
Necro police! man, I love those guys. (I should make a picture of this concept)
is that 50% off demigod?

Apparently they plan to fix no. 2 in the next expansion. I made mention how they should change the AI missions to include starbases, and they said the whole thing is being redone, which is why they arn't adding starbase missions.
paypal? (I believe they have alternate methods of collecting money from just creditcard. I think you can mail in money to gain account balance, but don't quote me on that)
One thing that Sins does a bad job of is conveying the scale of whats going on to the player. I remember reading once that if you took a Kol battleship and poked it into the surface of a terran planet. Just one of the beam cannon barrels mounted on the front would crush an area stretching from Vancouver to well past Seattle. Probably more, its hard to tell. I'm sorry, but that is one of the most idiotic statements that I've ever h
I agree, that would be nice. It would be a way for the not-online people to get their hands on the expansions.
I'm sure there is an old thread about this, but I have not seen one since Entrenchments release We know that there are 3 expansions planned. Prior to entrenchment's release we knew that the 1st was a defensive upgrade and the 2nd will be a social/diplomacy/trading upgrade. But the 3rd was a still unknown. Now that the 1st one has been released, are we going to get to hear about the 3rd expansion (keeping us informed 2 expansions in a

I'm not sure what that has to do with achievements. But ok, I'm glad to hear you make really hard custom maps.
it... *sniff* is an empty folder. I'm running a search on my entire hard drive, just in case. **update: I think I found it! I'm so happy *hugs achievements* but I can't figure out how to make them actually register. I hope its the right file (rather than a new blank one created when I re-installed)
ok... I'm happy to hear I may have a chance to recover it. Could you help me out on which file exactly, or should I just contact support?
ok, yes.... the startrek base would have been awesome. But honestly I see many similarities. Square I think is the way of the "TEC"... like when I think "TEC" I think of very structured and square shapes. So their base fits them perfectly.
I understand very well that us beta users had to uninstall and reinstall Sins because of the beta. I'm glad we could do what we did to progress the game's development, even if there is the set-back of having to reinstall. But now I've lost all my achievements [e digicons]X([/e] Truely I'm heart broken, because I worked very hard to get some of them. This is intollerable. There should be some sort of recov
I agree. I said this earlier somewhere.
hmmm.... I will be able to keep my achievements right?
I was expecting "babies" and "spinich" with maybe a little bit of "noobs"
I think capital ships are plenty powerful. They are more than worth their expenses in a fight. if I spent the 3000 credits, 400 metal, and 325 crystal on regular ships, the capital ship
you need to research the ability to jump to distant stars. make sure it isn't a normal jump tech. You just right click on the distant star to where you want to jump. Sometimes it is misleading because it looks like a normal jump to the next planet, but if you zoom all the way out, you'll see it is to next star
what is wrong with not quiting when there is no chance of winning? I HATE when players quit early. edit: I shouldn't use such harsh words. I understand why they do it and can't really hold it against them. But I'd perfer if they play a full game with me, especially when there are like 3 other players and a small pretty-much-dead player is fun to have.
