Sometimes I build siege frigates when playing Advent. It is cheaper than Revelation and does more damage pound for pound. Revelation fights better and has Reverie (good counter to Marza). The draw back is that siege has less hp than even light frigates.

Makeshiftwings: There are so many laws that governs our (pefectly designed) world; some we don't even understand. That is not orderly? Why not just say we don't know what happened? Arguing doesn't make it better, we are just going in circles. I don't know anyone else, you not convincing me about anything you claimed. Are you trying to convince yourself? Also if I am wrong I lose nothing; if you are wrong you lose everything. Not exactly a fa

You can't even use Wikipedia as a source for college paper. I just don't do serious search on wikipedia; some people won't take it seriously. Anyway I did found something: http://www.cgfi.org/2009/03/10/natural-global-warmings-have-become-more-moderate-by-dennis-t-avery/ . I do think that some people use science as a weapon, and it is powerful just li
Not that I agree or disagree (I'm not giong to get into the Global Warming argument), but do you not see the irony in laughing at his use of Wikipedia when you counter with "I read somewhere..."?
You are wise in staying out of that argument. I am not suppose to argue about that either. Its hard to guarantee the accuracy of information unless you do the research yourself. No, I am not going to look up 23 years of data. I read somewhere that data collected over last 23 years show no sign of global warming trend. Lol. So in other words, your evidence is limited to wikipedia???? I am sure wikipedia is credible. Hahaha.

Do you have some evidence to back up these accusations? ...Wait, are you talking about the Republican party's global warming conspiracy theories? I'd rather not go into that; it's a thread derailment waiting to happen. Is there something else that you're alluding to above?
Yes global warming is one of them. And I rather not get into it. If you don't know about it you probably not a science major. I don't t

I liked science and spend a lot of time on it when I was young, I even got a degree and a minor in two of them. What turned me off is hypocritical sciences that we have today. We have science that are very biased and seem to have some kind of agenda (social, political etc..). If religion indoctrinate people so does so called science. They present theory that they can't prove as facts. When you look closely there are a lot of assumptions and maybe even errors

I think Runiners are useful for deploying mines to slow down enemy fleets. I wouldn't spend too much time with it though.
Doesn't the advent carrier also function as mobile mine layer also? It can't deploy as many mines as the ruiner, but it can field 3 squads at a time.
That sounds very nice on paper, but building mine layers drains serious am. One squadron is already a bit much.

How about being able to build decoy armies and spread false information? It can also tie into diplomacy. Give me information on that player in set amount of time. More buildings will be nice too. Build guard stations for allegiance, schools for faster research, colonies for faster population growth. Also please reduce the amount of mines allowed in a gravity well and maybe have mine sweepers too.

Im not trying to use these things to say God exists but im just saying its... interesting
I have taken tests when I tried to trick the teacher in giving me more information; they never gave me anything more. The choice is left to men. You can't prove or disprove Him; you can only go by faith.
More Stuff: I'm a programmer, so I'm a little inclined to see the universe from a similiar perspective. I see it like this: If I were God, the universe would be designed in a way that it is self-sufficient and does not require my intervention, except to fix the occassional bug. Ultimately the universe would be a set of algorithms and logic that define how things work and provide limitations for various things. People, are simply actors within

By this same logic we can assume that God was created by a higher being." It exists, therefore it had to be made" so either God was made, or God doesn't exist... Or this logical arguement simply is incorrect, in which case we can simply assume that the Universe exists because it exists and there is no intelligent design behind it all.
By that argument everything is nonsense. The universe simply exist because it exist is nonsesense. And no inteligent design is

I don't think you understood at all what I was talking about. I wasn't talking about physical strength. But if you want to use your little example, yes we could. With advancements, in medicine, genetics, robotics, so forth, we damn well could lift an elephant one day. Anyways, I was talking more a long the lines of mathematics. AND if you had even read my post you'd see that I acknoloedged that science does indeed bring forth more questions than answers, but the point is, things th

Someone please prove that there is no God. In fact that line of thought is illogical. Anyone who assume there is no God is just arrogant. Watch implies watch maker. Especially when that watch is infinitely complex and infinitely large.

1,151 Replies 3,847,627 Views

One word, no. What you said isn't logical. Just because caveman would be amazed at what we can do does not mean we can over come everything. That is like saying lifting weights make you stronger and therefore you will be able lift an elephant one day. And science simply brings forth more questions than answers.
