Thanx for the advice Monk i tried the driver thing got the latest updates from the manufacturers, I even went and exchanged the game disk for another in case it was a game software issue, and i also downloaded impulse and got the game update, my game still freezes in the menu section for selecting game type or i might get as far as the beginning set up for the world or system then it freezes, like about 40 seconds of actual game time. I s there anything else besides checking for firewall or viru

I just bought this game from a retail store today 6-9-08 and when i try to run the game in tutorial or regular game play it freezes up on me and wont run. I get the cinematic trailer and the opening menu from there it freezes. What is the problem and what do i have to do to make it work so that i can play
