Oh that is strange. I seem to recall that every ship levelled up in SOGE a good while back. I think they might have made every ship into a capitol ship or something. I cant remember really. edit: just checked, they just raised the number of caps to 999 or so. :D my Fault, getting forgetfull I reckon.

Wow. Great work so far. I love the Warhammer universe, it has so much potential with lots of different races and stuff. A couple of questions, how are you going to do resources? Sins have metal crystal and cash. I think something else would work better for Warhammer universe, like ehrr resources, manpower or maybe material or valuable resources. Also are you going to tone down the over the top abilities capitol ships get when they level up? Its nice to have

I dont recall that either, but people do tend to see lot of different figures in the clouds so i reckon it can be done with models aswell... In any case they are really good now.

Hehe, and i agree with the mooving part, i picture side thrust mooving the ship sideways and forward at the same time, or in cases of extrame ranges just slight turns of the prow while mooving forward will cause shots fired to miss by vast distances. So im all with you on the mooving part, its just that with the system i saw in action the ships were like dogfighting, flying in circles around one another etc. That just struck me as unseemly for space combat. How big distance do you visualice the ships fighting from zombie? Im just having a realy hard time seeing huge destroyers etc dogfighting like modern figther planes, especially in space where there are no gravity and bullets can go miles.. and miles.. and miles.. I just want some help to see this mechanism as cool instead of as hopelessly lame. So someone.. come on.. give me something. Also nice and easy solution to the problem with stationary superiority there.

As chundai says, the 3 level of the skylark of valeron power surge is bugged it dont give weapon cooldown only shield regen. (according to what it reads) Same goes for jelmi class "shadow support" lvl 3. havent checked anything else yet. Capitol laboratories also dont work, tested it both with the first ship built before research was completed and after when i had 4 ships, never got any extra research tiers. Hehe, yeah ugh, not worth it just for a new shiny dress. Yeah what lavo says. When i played star trek, i parked my ships and they outgunned every other moving one, was pretty hillarious, them zooming around while i just sat there blowing them out of the sky.

Oh dynamic movement eh, is that the one that was used in the star trek mod? The mod was awesome, but i remember i really despised the ships moving around like small jets. A real battle in space would involve ships lining up at the maximum of their range and unleashing deaths thousand of thousands of meters away. I would like actually positioning your vessels to get the most out of their weapons, but i guess that might be taking it a bit too personal hehe. Yeah leveling is tricky, but

Well im impressed. This sounds great. I have been hoping for someone to ditch the magic abilities and make it more of a tactical fleet battle. I really like what you have outlined above. Regarding strikecraft, you could make them entirely different by inncreasing the time it takes to rebuild em to like 2-5 minutes or something, which in effect means that when you launch all squadrons that are the squadrons you have availible for that encounter, they wont endlessly

So annoying not having the maelstrom races installed (only rebellion installed now since a pc crash) One thing you could do would be to give the trade alliance rebel or whatever peace treaty with pirates like the tec rebels (i feel it fits better with trade alliance actually)and maybe also use of their forces. Maybe some mercenary forces could be implemented with a different twist than the tec rebels. Trade alliance special powers should atleast to some degree focus on trade i reckon, w

Yeah that would be possibly i guess sinperium, it dont particularly strike me as something i would enjoy but who knows how it would turn out. reason i dont like it is mostly because i feel it forces the ships into certain roles which they may or may not actually fit into. =meaning for a smaller ship to be able to defeat a bigger one it indicates it has technology specificically tailored to do so with lot of weapons facing in one direction, strong directional shield projectors etc, maybe fast

That could work sinperium but it would require a complete overhaul of all the titans because they are very different in regards to strengths and weaknesses. I really dont see how a single vessel could be the bane of everyone of them unless it was simply a more powerful titan.
