Seems I need to work on Skarner some more. I dont think Im playing right or building him right. I still dont do well enough. Sorry I missed all the LoL fun this weekend, had to work. Maybe tongiht we can get a few games in with whoever. Maybe even win one? :P

In the lastest version, the Extra folder is MIA. Alot of the extras were out of date. Expect this folder to reappear in the 1.0. You can still use the method of copying the GalaxyDef file to your Galaxy Forge folder. It will still work. You just might have some of the icons show up as "?". Might make it a bit confusing if your making a big map but it still works.
Yeah this just happened. Had over 500 Armor with Brutal Strike activated. Alot of my deaths where preventable, if my team would of been more aggressive. And towards the end I was just diving into all 5 by myself just to see how much damage I could do before dying. I'll never get this lucky again.
Its more than SoTS with bloom. Its SoTS, taken to a new level. Its more complex than the original. Looks to have alot more depth also. SoTS vets, will have to relearn alot of the game just like a brand new player to the universe would. If you like GalCiv style games, you like SoTS. A personal selling point to me is the actual Real Time combat. Its like to see all my ships go pew pew.

As far as I understand, Steam is required for patching only. Ive yet to test that you dont need to run Steam to play the game but the Devs said Steam is what they will use to deliver patches. I went ahead an just bought it off Steam for that reason.

I took today off to download it and play it. Didnt happen b/c of reasons stated above. Not downloaded the 'new' version. But their beta version is totaly broke. Even if i wanted to beta test...I dont see how one could with that. I expect in time though this game will be rocking. SoTS 1 is great still play that with Ryat and by myself some. They put half the afte release support they put into SoTS 1, it will be a great game. But dont buy it yet. L
