The Ankylon is so much bette when you mod Fleet Shield with super high target cap. If it was unlimited like alot of the other AoE titans ablilies...oh man. =D So should been like that from the get go.

Most your later game slowdown/lag is all CPU based. The game is a single core game. So thats why you see one core going full speed the rest chilling. The game isnt super graphical intensive as it is CPU intensive. The fighter/bomber spam is one of the worse things for the game, since it trackes each unit and Strikecraft come in squads which vary on race. You can tweak your settings to reduces all

The AI in Rebellion will use scouts to counter mines. Ive seen them many of times jump in scouts(sometimes 20+, which is overkill IMHO) before their fleet and then proceed to clear a path as they charge their target. </
