I have been doing small mods for personal use off on on since Sins came out. When rebellion came I tried to continue but was not able to due to the fact that the Sins 3ds Max Exporter stoped using dummys and started using bones. I have looked all over the forum for a tutorial that explains how to set up the bones and get everything in place so all you have to do in export the model and it is ready to use in Sins. Any Links and other help that can be give is highly apprec

I do not know if I am posting this in the right area but here it goes. Can any one tell me the maximum number of ship classes one faction will be able to play with. Right now in diplomacy there is a total of 27 slot: nine Frigates, nine cruisers, and nine capital. With a the new category of corvettes coming into play will that increase the number to 36, take into account that I am not counting the single model Titan that each faction has.
I am attempting to edit an existing "dds" file in Photoshop, but when I go to put it in the game the ship looks like their is no texture attached to it at all. To the best of my knowledge I am following the instructions in the tutorials to the letter, so if any one might have any idea what I might be doing wrong, I am all ears. Thank You

I have just gotten a new labtop and have tried to transfer the resizer to it from the old computer but it will not go. I have spent over 4 hours trying to get the mscomctl.ocx to resister. I did what it says here on the forum and went to several other web sites geared for that application but nothing hasd worked. Any thoughts. Before the question is asked, the old computer runs on Windows 7 64-bit as dose the new one.
Does any one know if they are going to add the feature where you can name all of you ships, not just the capital ships?

I was just wondering if there was a way to give frigates and cruisers names justv like the capital ship. The oly thing that I can think of doing is to go into the player entity file and on the 8th line where you read capitalShipNameType "CapitalShipPsi" you add a line right before it or right after it to something like' frigateShipNameType "CapitalShipPsi" I have not tried this yet, I just wanted to get every ones opinion and see if you all think that tis if doa

I have created a custom frigate factory and need to now how to convert it to the proper file time and then putting it into the game. I was wondering if any one out there has ever tried to get the ships to move more like the fighters. To me it dose not seem logical that a ship would just sit there hile it is fired upon. Wouldn't you want to move around and dodge enemy fire, or is it just me.
Ok i understand that but i have tried to add more pages to the frigate sellection so that I could hace more that two tabes on the frigate biuld sellection but the game will not load. is there some thing else that O am not doing that I should
Right now there are only three ship classes. Is there a way to increase that so that we can have four, five, or even six different classess of ships.
You ships are great keep up the goo work. I am a New be when it comes toCreating my own ships (as in have never done it). What programs do you need to put every thing together. To create every thing and then to get it into the game, things like that.
