Essentially, the title says it all, I'd like to ask the more experienced modders what files I need to manipulate in order to slightly increase the fleet sizes for the Advent and Vasari.
Let me guess, running it through steam? If so I had a similar issue and I solved it by disabling the steam in-game community support. 1. Locate Sins: rebellion in your library 2. Right click on it, select "properties" 3. Uncheck "enable steam community in-game" 4. Click close Give this a shot and write back, I'm very curious to see if your i

They are. Strangely enough, it works on windowed mode. Strange fix but it'll have to do.

Hello all, I created this post to see if, even if this has been addressed before, to see if there is an issue with Sins as far as minidumping when I try to switch the game to the highest resolution for my display? Note: This is only a change to the screen resolution. I have not changed any texture settings for any of the structures/planets/objects/things.

The Advent are basically bringing a water gun to a nuke fight...literally. The Deliverance needs something that will make it worthwhile and justify the trouble to build it. Right now, the effects of the Deliverance Engine are even hysterical compared to the Temple of Communion. If the Temple of Communion has a better effect than the Deliver

AI never use Kostura properly, (skilled) humans online do...
Doesn't really concern me because I don't have the time to dedicate to online gaming, so your point is completely irrelevant from my POV. Besides, the Kostura doesn&#
Quoting Jrla21, reply 394 Kostura at least disables all orbital structures You never had a full Vasari fleet coming right after a Kostura hit on your homeworld, had you? This can be actually stronger than a Novalith as it disables all struvtures, repair, hangars etc for minutes, and say goodby to any well defended world, maybe if he is VL he will even strip the planet and you will get a dead asteroid if you rea

As feedback, I would like to ask that the Advent deliverance engine be given a huge buff. It is the least balanced of the 3 superweapons. The Novalith is basically a "CLICK HERE TO DESTROY ENEMY COLONY" button, whilst the Kostura at least disables all orbital structures. The only other remedy IMO for the issue, would be to nerf the Novalith. Considering we only get 8 starbase upgrades, having to use one of them to ensure the planet doesn't fall in the event of a Novalith blast on every si

@ Hegemon, I think that is more of a problem with the actual game than it is with distant stars as I had encountered this same issue without DS installed or activated. I'm about to play a non-modded game to see how far that takes me. Typically I get minidumped after playing for a little bit more than an hour.

Hey, I don't know if this has been brought up before, but here is the situation. When I load Rebellion (1.1), without any mods active, it loads fine and I can enable the mod with no issues and play a game. The issue comes up when I close the game with the mod enabled and open it later, it never makes it past the loading sceen without mini-dumping. The issue is easily resolved by removing the mod from the directory (Or simply deactivating it before closing the game), but I figured I'd

As an avid Advent player, I'm actually not too fond of the (Loyalist?) Advent titan. The one with the halo-like thingy on top. IMHO, it looks a bit too simplistic and half-assed. Although the Rebel one is spot on. (Aside from the floaty thingy at the top which kind of just looks like a Euro coin floating above the ship, but it's not such a huge deal.)

I'd like to see some additional Capships for the races, with a super ability comparable to the superweapons. Something like a supernuke for the TEC, a superlaser for the Advent, and some sort of Phase Missile destruction ability that can wipe out an entire starbase with one hit, or destroy the enemy colony on the planet in one hit for the Vasari.
