Is there a way to change where mods are installed, or where the game reads them from? The default (for Vista) is in the ProgramFiles\User\local\AppData directory, but can I change that? I like having all my game files in one place :/

Advent will rule EVERYONE! I love Advent, they go well with my playstyle- I'm defensive, and I don't like losing ships, so invincible fleets are awesome. If any of you has the Distant Stars mod, try playing caps only with Advent. It's insane, you can instapop starbases. And in normal play, I like being able to use all of my ships strategically, which means I'm often outnumbered...and it's awesome when you plow through enemies that aren't as researched with only a handf

i just recently updated my drivers before i got the game... but here are my specs... Intel Pentium Processor 3 CPU- M 1200Mhz 795Mhz 256Mb of RAM thats all i can find. im on an old Sony VAIO laptop PCG-R505GL model.

Eve is definitely complicated with a steep learning curve. Been playing it for 5 years. just got Sins...and its a lot easier to play :). But ill never leave Eve unless they become like WoW. Course, its all a matter of what you wanna do. Im still confuzzled with Eve :|

i have a similar problem, only i get graphics glitches every 10 minutes and in order to eliminate them i have to restart my comp. My comp is also WAY underpowered (its about 6 years old). Works okay, laggy, but playable. It may have something to do with the hardware. I also put it into window mode and didnt have any glitches for about 20 minutes. So...i have no idea, either. :|
