Ahhhh... Star Wars!!! I used to play the Old KOTOR games several years ago, and tried the Galaxies Onlines as well, haha, it was addicting, i almost couldnt give it up. I would like to try it again, but this sounds silly, but haha, im not sure i can afford the addiction. :) But i loved them and the Jedi Knight Academy games as well, it was soooooo neat getting that light saber in your fingers, you know?... :) Haha, <echoing voice:
Massive, complex, almost similar to SoaSE or GC++, somehow bigger (in scope or features), quality or reasonably priced, more recent or quite old? Look no further and wait for GC3... but, in the meantime you might want to try this; Malfador's own Space Empires V. http://www.malfador.com/Se5.html
Hmmm.... looks very interesting, and a browswer game as well, that makes it easier to play certainly,
:) DireSaint and Cyb-D, Very nice Work!!! I got it loaded and am Loving It!! :) Haha, Just wanted to share some screenshots... http://gallery.filefront.com/TealBlue/158221/ just copy and paste into your browser window and then when
One thing with Haegemonia is that it doesn't work properly on Vista, usually crashing with a sound error after a little while. A great shame, as it's one of my favourite space games. I'm playing it on my EEEPC with XP installed, but it would be nice to play at full res on my desktop. I can dual-boot into XP though, which I'll do when I haven't got downloads going. Teal, it will run perfectly on your system (if you have X
:) This is Seriously Seriously Awesome!!!! I would love to get it to play in Entrenchment. :) I was at 1.12 earlier tonight, because of a re-install, but then put Entrenchment back in, it is a wonderful expansion, lots of new additions. But this mod with realistic planet sizes is something i would love to play :) Thank You DireSaint for updating Cybdevil's work, it is wonderful to have this. Perhaps i can go back to 1.12 and give it a try. </
These all sound very very interesting, the HW series i have and yes they are Excellent!! :) Some of the others are new to me, the Master of Orion, i have heard of but havent played, and the Genesis and Nexus titles i looked up after you mentioned them, they look different than Sins, and that is both a plus and a minus, haha, i like the difference, but dont know yet how they will play, but thank you for mentioning them. FreeLancer is another new one, and the GalCiv series i

:) Thank you!! I was able to get the game exchanged with Walmart, but i tried the download from impulse last night as you mentioned and it installed perfectly, no errors and now runs the 1.12. :) THank you for the suggestions though, Sincerely, -Teal
:) I loved and still play HW and HW2 and HW:Cataclysm Superb games!! -Teal p.s Yes, i could hope that Sins could incorporate some of that into there game, it would only be better and better!! at least in my rather biased and humble opinion. -Teal
Larger scale than Sins? Even on small maps, the games seem to take all day to finish . . . Hmmm, you know what would be sweet? A space-based MMORPG. You mean like Eve online? I can't speak for RandallFlagg, but I'd want soemthing like Eve online, but with real PvE. I'm considering trying EVE, but from what I've heard it's pretty weak on PvE, and it's practically an anarchy in there. I'm waiting for something like EV
Ahhhh.... where my friend did you get your copy of Windows 7? And im running Vista now, but am looking forward to the nice additions that 7 seems to be bringing. Is is stable enough to run as your main OS? -Teal
teal I have a good memory and like to solve problems, and can code in vb, and have written a couple of small utilities for myself to solve small map related problems in other games, but have not tried to mod, but have enjoyed many mods over the years & just want to help
You are very nice, and i wanted to say Thank You very very much!! :) Thank you for the post back, and you
It is not that i dont like Sins, because i think its Great and really really enjoy it, but wanted to look at some others, just for the sake of variety. I was hoping people could list the ones they like and why and it would give me some that maybe i havent heard of before to take a look at. Thank you, -Teal

:) Hmmm... Interesting, im not as professional as the other ppl, but i play Advent alot, and find that: early game: i'm behind, my research is just beginning to get going and the other races fairly outnumber or outgun me. mid game: If i haven't lost by this time the Vasari are a little easier to deal with than Tec, as my fleet is beginning to get good firepower and my shields are tough enough to hold fairly well, If im not overwhelmed by Tec, which i sometimes have
Hi, I'm Teal, i have had your game now for about 4 months, it is very very good, but i have a small problem recently that happened after my machine was corrupted with spyware and i had to re-install everything. I have an acer system running vista home premium, a dual core 1.8 mhz intel processor with 3gb of memory and a 256mb Nvidia Geforce 7100 video card. After the Windows re-install i installed and updated the disk version, i am guessing it is

:) Interesting ideas!! :) I'm stuck at the moment with mini-dumps, something i took out, or put in is giving me headaches. I have a copy of the earlier version, but will have to re-do everything i just put in the last few days. So, a lot of work to re-do, but this time slower, and checks each time so i can see if i can spot where the mini-dump is happening, or hopefully avoid the whole mini-dump thing altogether. ] Well, we will see, thank you for the interesting ide
:) Sounds very very cool!!!! Congrats on the new mod!!! :) -Teal
Not to take away from TFL's accomplishment, which is major, but has anyone seen the rotating lights on the advent starbase? I haven't seen the tec or vasari starbases yet, but the lights on the advent base swivel around the perimeter of the saucer. :) It looks like the devs may be moving in TFL's direction after all!! Nice work, keep it up, it could lead to a lot more animation in-game, which if it doesnt kill my low end pc, would be fantastic!!! :) -Te
