Thank you Annatar, i misunderstood what ive been hearing/reading and i thought ... well, i wished they wouldnt complain so much. But i think you are right, i think i misread that. Anyway, im glad that as you say, its the balancing and not the elements. I cant say it as well as you. But im glad that im wrong, Does that make any sense? Haha, anyway, thank you for clarifying that for me. It helps. :) -Teal

It would be nice to have the skyboxes cycle through each color so we could choose the one we like. :) Just my two cents, but i like the red alot, and the green is peaceful, and the purple is to die for!!! :) It would be nice to choose, and maybe i will try the cheating!! :) Haha, as long as i get the purple or red or green i will be happy!! :) -Teal

I know a lot of people seem upset, and looking at different things in the game i suppose one could be critical and upset with different aspects if it werent for several things. One is of course that the dev team is bending over backwards to accomodate us, the players, and two, when did you ever see a game company that was willing to do that? I saw, but never played BioShock!! Big creepy monsters, little girls and flamethrowers, dank dark corridors and tons of frame eating graphics

Hmmm.... i play normally with the build speed set to fast, and it did seem to build rather quickly, but to be honest, i prefer the fast build speed. I know others perhaps prefer it slower. But well, i usually dont get long to play, and so getting into the game quickly has become a rather major point with me. But i dont mind it. -Teal

:) It "is" very very pretty isn't it? :) I adore it too!! But Annatar is right, this causes like "Major" accidents, why i was building like 12 scouts and anti-fighter vessels, and watching the skybox, tilting the camera around to like you know, get the most beautiful.... and then what do you know? I'm in the hospital ship, sirens whining and i've got like a 12 on 12 pile-up with scout parts everywhere, it was a horrible sight!!! Just too much to bear. Well, now i play

What about a moderately increase in firepower for the starbase, and make it semi-mobile, by that i mean, perhaps move at 100 mph, which is the speed of a capital, but keep it confined to the gravity well? In this way, between the moderate increase in firepower and the limited mobility the starbase is not so easy to go around? In that way it keeps its uniqueness, but becomes more effective in the gravity well and is slightly more powerful, but not over-poweringly so. Just a thought,</p

Is it fair that Stardock ONLY focuses on the online players but leaves those seeking a more rich understanding of the SoaSE universe hanging out to dry? Double touche here. It's hard to compens

It is just that the 14 planet single star map, is very little different from the 105 planet 14 star map, yes it is bigger, and takes longer, but the strategies are not different from map to map. As far as map sizes go, one difference on a larger map is that you'll go further through the tech trees, so to that extent the str

Hi EvilTesla, Im not connecting the two, i was trying to use the resize tool, but it will not work with the 1.12 version of the game i have. It worked for the older versions, but not this one. As to developer.exe, i have never used it, but have seen many modders refer to using it to make their mods. I thought perhaps it could resize some meshes, or

Does anyone know if i can use the developer.exe to resize the mesh files? NewBoerg has a tool that does it for 1.05 meshes which is very very cool, but of course i have already updated to 1.12 and i cant use it now. :( Anyway i am trying to double the size of some of the ships in the game to make "Heavy Capitals". Thanks and take care, keep modding!! -Teal

Hi, I am working on the next version of my mini mod, and have updated some new capitals with new abilities, but of course am using the same mesh for the new ones. I wanted to ask if there is a way, and how i could go about either increasing or decreasing the size of the capitals to make them different from the other capitals. I am calling these the Heavy Capitals, so the idea is to try to increase their size to about double

Thankyou to everyone for their nice input, i saw it on Steam, and looked on Impulse, but didnt see it yet. The trailers and YouTube scenes look interesting, but wasnt quite sure. I wanted another sci-fi game, but wasnt sure how it would play. I have an older computer, 5 year old e-machine with good memory (2gb) and a 2.2 ghtz AMD chip and XP SP2. My graphics card is a 256mb Nvidia and it runs some modern games well, depending on what they are. And runs Sins very well,

:) Merry Christmas!! It looks wonderful!! Ahhhh..... modding Entrenchment!! Haha, it will probably change "some" but i am guessing it will be pretty close to this. Isn't it wonderful? I think this really changes things in a very cool way. Craig and Blair and Company did a wonderful job on this, they should be proud. Anyway, thank you for posting this, as i was wondering if i could get into the files and start tweaking again, haha, i seem to forever

I was really kinda hoping they'd get on the list themselves (I nominated them as a single deal, can't really split them up, you know ), but instead we got a game tester who looks like a habitual drunk and an EA guy who looks like he's high. Yeah I did as well. Well maybe next year after all the x-packs are out and people know them more. T

:) This is Very Very interesting!! Thank you for opening my eyes to something new. I am new, well.. haha, almost 4 months now, all SP, no MP because i dont want to embarrass or anger teammates for messing up, and because for me, ai is more like chess, i can pause and think about it awhile, haha, with people that is really really hard to do without them blowing up. Anyway, i think i will start spending more time in the strategy forums and trying to learn, and maybe try a mp
