At least it would have a few neutral planets to get through, eh?

Like I said earlier, I could (probably) figure a unit for each of the standing ones in game, plus help design a few extras for what is lacking. Alot of it would have to be non-canon, but, ah well. ToJKa has a good point. It would more than likely need to wait until after Starcraft two comes out, if it could even start then. Still, 'tis a hope.
cool sound good and one more request, plz make capital ships and carriers be able to hold way more squadrons. like the Halycon it holds 2 squadrons which is pathetic. it would be awsome to see at least 100 squadrons fliying around in a large battle. I got a good comp so i could run that many ships. would be cool if cap ship carriers had 20 squadrons and not 2.
Would need to be considerate to those with less able mach
The Swamp planet, obviously, can be used to teach young pilots about the ways of the Force. In all seriousness though, perhaps it could have a field that causes buildings in orbit to be more difficult to target. Don't know exactly how that could work out, but, it's a thought eh?
Aye, I thought it might be quite difficult, but as far as units themselves go, as you said, it wouldn't be too much of a problem. Current units, modifications to them, plus whatever is coming out in SC2, would fix it up nicely with a bit of imagination, eh? But, the rest of it I can't say anything for. Still, if somebody does happen to pick it up, I'd be willing to sign up as Beta tester for sure!
Hey, folks. This hit me recently, wondered if perhaps it was possible. So what say on a Starcraft Mod? It would be limited to air units of course, and scale-wise the units would be rather off, for the most part, and there would be tons of complications every which way, but I think it might be possible. I have no modding experience whatsoever though, so it may not be, but if it is I can help a bit, maybe, at least with unit counters and whatnot. Ie, Battlecruiser = Kol or Kodia
Indeed, this sounds great! I would reccomend looking into getting Solar Sins implimented with it, given you had permission. Always love extra planets and whatnot, on top of tactics. I'll be watching this one no doubt.
I'm not trying to add more players- I'm trying to make it so that where everybody spawns is totally random, and not just on the first ten player areas. It makes the game more diverse; for instance, in a map with five stars and twenty five starting positions, you could have three people on one, two on another, five on a third, and two that happen to be unoccupied and open to invasion. On the same note, you might end up alone, with the entire star to yourself; temporarily, at least. At
Hey, folks. Just asking for a bit of help here; pardon if it's been said elsewhere, but I was having some trouble with the searcher. My question is this; is it possible to totally randomize the starting location on a map? For instance, I opened the huge multi-star in the forge, and was tinkering with it. I added another fifteen players, added some more planets at the other three stars, then saved it. Only to find that nobody would spawn anywhere but the original starting zones
Alright, I'm working on implementing my music without over-riding other stuff. But how does the game determine the action/emotion level/range? It doesn't appear to have any major effect on how often the song is played, because all but two of the battle/quiet I listened to for contrast I regularly hear, while the two odd ones out were similar to many others I hear all the time. Any thoughts on how to determine this stuff? Edit; I'm noticing a few s
Awesome, thanks folks. I'll go ahead and report my progress here when I get on that later.
Hey. I like the SoaSE music and all, but I would like to add some of my own to it as well. I've got a folder in with the rest of the music for my own, and I have SoundMusic.sounddata up, but I'm not sure how to change it to add the other music, or even if it's possible. I know it's possible to modify sounds as a whole, but I havn't seen anything done musically. Anybody able to help? The music, by the way, is in .mp3 format, as opposed to the Sins sounds which are all in .ogg. I'm assu
