Really wouldn't call them a massive failure:/

I didn't realize every clan on here was supposed to be serious business and competitive, how strange you people are Anyway, played several games with members of this clan in it, nice to have people to play with/fill up games
The Halcyon just is such a trade-off from the progen that I can't see it being worthwhile. In fact, you'll definitely save more from the Progen's colonize ability than the Halcyon could theoretically save you on disciples.
I get colony ships anyway for nuetrals, and really early in the game, I find the halycon's increase in dps to the lrm's outdoes the progen shield restore. Progen usually is my 2nd cap rolling out with guardians and carriers.

Are there any spots to jump to in the video where you or your opponent did amazing stuff? I'd download it simply to learn but 5 hours is a lot to parse through;)

I find carriers still more useful than flak to mix with lrf's. Early on with fighters you can take out a few of their lrf's before they get shot down, making the lrf vs. lrf tilt in your favor. Later on you have bombers vs. heavy cruisers and starbases whereas they're still stuck with flak. Over all I think it works fine, it just isn't as dominating as it used to be.

I much rather would want to join any game I have installed, so when running entrenchment I could see and join vanilla games. The icons could go next to the game type itself.

I got to page 3 and after seeing people fail all over themselves trying to remember the B5 story I skipped to the end, nice that people havegotten around to actually making the mod Happens to be a coincidence that I torrented the entire B5 series recently and have just started season 4 and see this, it'd be nice to recreate or modify some of the B5 universe
Just to clarify a point for me, Agent of Kharma - were you aware of your opponent's fleet composition that he could use to reinforce when you jumped your fleet into his empty gravity well? No. However, it is irrelevant to my point. My point simply has to do with the length of time it takes for a small group of fighters to take out vast numbers of the thing they counter. That's the point whether I played well or
Most of you totally missed this guy's point. He's asking what you would do with all the extra resources. He's not asking for advice on how to play so that he wins more quickly, or doesn't amass such a huge surplus. So quit flaming him already, gosh. In your situation, I would tend to spam trade ports and Novaliths (since it sounds like you're playing as TEC). Also, if you're running entrenchment, see how many fully upgra

Had a completely superior fleet, even with his javelins in number, even with carriers in number, and with their superiority I already had an advantage because advent units are superior on a 1:1 ratio. I also had guardians where as he had no support ship. I Had out upgraded everyone on the map in military technology which further distanced the gap in unit strength.. It was in my culture which at the time was just an extra 2% mitigation. I had a lvl 7 halycom with
The point is to give it a niche without making it a game breaking unit or even one you would mass, just supplement a fleet with. The idea of it is to make siege frigates usable in combat via its tiny pelts (I didn't mention this before but ship to ship weps would cost no AM)since it wouldn't die fast and/or actively bomb a planet while the fleets are engaged instead of relegated into uselessness or to the point where yo
They could buff the seige unit to old stats, leave new cost. In addition, make them have AM, and it cost 1 AM per shot with extremely slow regen, which early game is just enough to kill 1 planet for 3-5 SF. It would scale with AM/siege dmg upgrades vs. the opponent upgrading defense and planet hp's would keep it about 1 planet kill, meaning with the high cost, massing them early on would be infeasible or hopelessly outnumbered by the opponent
