LOl i duno what happen there Hey Danman one question. Um i have a problem with the planets. They are all transparent! in the original cd vanila. So i went looking in the original texture file and i found that acording to the mesh entity of the planets (xemple Terran)are missing a Bm normal texture file. I notice because the asteroids had normal bm.dds texture. I know this is the reason why the planets are transparent but i wonder if this is normal. PLz help <p

BlacShade Well, i have been able to do this but, using a reacherche um called gravitywell decrease or something like that. I used it so that my ship from my very own race would be able to jump from praticly anywere in the gravity well nearly right beside the planets.So u can just mod that reacherce to increase rather than deacrese. Um but ya im sure Danman can awnser this one. Anyhow this is a exelent forum i have learned a great deal on matters that ive been scratching

Forget all of that save up for a quantum computer haha! it will be able to do everything ten time faster well when we can use more than 32 qubits haha. No there is no practical use for a quantum computer, thats far in the future but its an idea. I would go for whatever is the latest in 2010 newest motherborad with newest cpu and graphics card.....etc. I have already saved enough money a good 1500$ still saving but ya im gonna wait for the latest. Maybe i will wait when Moore's law won

Man oh man reading all these post and replys makes me worry about entrenchments effect on mods. Its ironic entrenchment was suposed to make mods easier to use but it didnt (well soo far). Anyhow... um quick question for you dolynick do you wright all the strings for each race or do you copy some pre existing strings and just change the names around. The reason for this question is because ive been making a race (based on Nexus the jupiter incident) and i tried copying some of your old string

Kylonstrife, Yes we are aware of this little bug and i know its anoying since i came across it many times. The best way to solve this problem (for the moment) is to save the game and reload it. Some times just closing the reashrche tree and opening it again helps too ( Sometimes). Hope this help im sure this bug will be fixed sooner or later. Hmm know that i think about it, your right. I recal the wraith placing their turrets very close to each other, around the frigate factory and all that stuff. I really hope this is the cause cuz its anoying. Anyway great work once again. Akkan117

SSAF I used skecth up to model my ships. U just need to get use to it, try making like a cube first. Plus this is standard u need to know the tool in each modeling software u get no matter which one in order easly make some compex polygon shapes and, models. I sugest u give skecth up a second go. This happen to me too so trust me just learn and follow the guides provided. Akkan117

dolynick, I have played with the gouald its lots of fun but i easaly lost agaisnt a hard ancient in mid game haha. Its okay, i didnt expect you to put my model in game just yet. Altough im aware of the poly porblem u might have with one of my models i spoke with dewing about it but, he reppoted nothing bad about them. I have finish correcting a few of those problems but im goona make sure that my models r perfect. Ill keep you posted. Akkan117

Hey dolynick, The mod is awesome i played it the second its was downloaded. I hav added a few touches of my own in the tech tree and the game play was just smooth and wonderful. I notice one thing tho, when looking threw the game info i found that u had meshes and a player entity for the goaould yet when i picked the races for the game, there was no goaould race!?! Was this intentional or is just there for a next update? Anyway great work once again loving the mod. Akk
