Bro weve been there before but CCP isnt letting us use their ships. There was a homeworld 2 mod with eve online mod but it never been release so i doubt this will go far. Ther are few other post about eve online mod but it since not much progress. Its a good idea it would be an awnsome mod but only when time allows it or when the Crowd Control Production Or (CCP) XD will allow it. Tiilll then we wait X(

Actualy as i discoverd the makers of eve online took so many element of games like nexus the jupiter incident , haegemonia legend of the iron, homeworld and 2 and so much more space games that came before 2004. Which is good cuz it gave them inspiration and i get to play with some of the very similar ships from these older games. I guess the ships model designer played those games too that is prob why they look so identical and similar.
Whiskey ,Kriss thx for the help I tried that already before posting for help didnt work (i know my way around sins pretty well so me posting means ive exhausted all the possibility i know of XD ) if i stack the tech 2 mod on top it cancels out the sg race mods so that does works The problem is that both mods dont really have have any to do with that ability or at least i dont think so. Hello Sins Players , Im having a little problem and im wondering if any one else as the same issue. When i join a online game just before i enter i get some thing like this "cannot join because i have a different mod checksum" however im not runing any mods. I though maybe i had mess up some of the original files when i did my mods but i reinstaled and nothing change. Also i ask some of the other players if they were running a mod but no they were not. heh importing sketchup files was always a hasle and the textured dont even get me started but Bloodember as a very good link that dandaman as provided it will cover evrything but ill reasure u it will take soome time to get used to xsi but once you good at it youll be making model on the fly in like 1 or 2 hour well for me that is. Anyhow good luck

i had this problem many time but what i found is that likw mansshooter said u have to frezze all transformation such as rotation and then saved the mesh, close it then reopen it, then export it. Well that whay i do :S best of luck Akkan117
haha well moding string files is merealy just renaming the name or description of a entity. so no there is no programe that i kno of that does what u want i think. Writting string files for mod is alwas the most time consuming thing [e digicons]^_^'[/e] My guess is that your getting string not found in some game content well all i can say is use the devolper to find the mssing string and then put in either a name ordescriptoion for the file or entity. hmm look bro ur gona have to be patient, eomega as a lot to do and i kno it take a long time to finish this kind of mod package. im sure he will release it how he see's fit meaning problably completed and he will most likely update what will possibly be a beta version. Just tab this post and u can keep track of this mod and its progress and you will kno when the mod will be ready. As for the mod i hope all is well keep us posted.keep up the great work sgi team. hmm i duno if this is possible but its worth trying. Maybe if u have an ability that switches one mesh to another so basicly taking a ship that is visible and replacing it with on that is totaly or slighly transparent. I duno maybe [e digicons]:\[/e]
hmm im sure dolynick has the original version just doesnt post it cuz usualy no one downloads it and it ends up being the deleted by the hosting website. But just ask doly im sure he will work something out.
