another thing I would like to see is formation options in fleets. it would make life so much easier if I could just tell my fleet to go to "flanking formation" (essentially a two-pronged attack - ships are split into two groups evenly, when one is engaged, the other comes around and flanks the attackers by default of their position) without having to maually order them to go to eack individual place. sphere would also be nice. it is a firm defensive formation that covers all

actually, what he means is that everything is revealed (all planets, stars, and pirate bases) the moment you win. this is possible in age of empires. something else i would like to see from age of empires (well, its actually number three) is a fleet banner say, from the top or across the side. and this would be for fleets only. I find it quite annoying when late game you always have to scroll to the top of the empire tree every time you want to select a fleet,
You're all a bunch of hotshots - weren't you reading the post properly? Rochar stands on the bridge between Earth and the rest of the game map. It's a massively fortified asteroid; boasting powerful defenses and a large, advanced garrison fleet supported by multiple phase jump inhibitors. The other worlds outside of Rochar (but still in the same system) may appear to be calm and wealthy trader worlds, but the journe

ah, yes. those too. Noticed something - the other sub-boards are up on the home forum page, but "fan submissions" is the only one cut off. the other sub-boards are shown.

I have been on the forums for a couple months now, and I have explored them quite a bit. but I only found the fan submissions category yesterday. maybe its just me, but shouldn't the sub-boards be moved above the recent posts? so many people stop at the recent posts sections that there are only around ten or so who come to the sub-board. maybe its just me, but isn't the wholoe point of "fan submissions" for other people to see them? now I don'

oh, yes. I have to keep all of my fleets together (into one super fleet to defend against a hard TEC's attacks. it is quite annoying. right when I get all of my losses replaced, he attacks again.) but I have his chokepoint now, so [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons][/e]

not a clue. this story is unfolding for me too. dead serious, I have no actual plan when I write, it just comes. the closest thing I have to a plan is that at some point I will jump back to the late-war time period and I am considering kicking this to the general area. not many people can find here.

(referring to the spy ship) it would probably only be detected by other stealth ships or maybe a certain structure type. it makes sense that stealth ships would have the best sensors. (magnetic sensors would work the best)
i've tried to send a fleet into open space, it stops you a little outside the gravity well. also, overlapping gravwells don't work either (unless there is a bug to it.), in fact, the ships don't even attack each other.
did you "jump" to the other well? or just move between the two on sublight?

hey whindlisa, no offense intended, but the TEC will not have an equal understanding of the phase drive with the Vasari. the Vasari are specialists in phase technology - their superior weapons (although a kol Battleship and a Kortul Devastator are pretty evenly matched, as are the other ship equivalents) are only due to the age of the race itself. and the position that the Vasari are in is actually a very good position for technological improvement - always encounter

I am also a Vasari player and to tell you the truth, I think that a few persons have greatly misrepresented them( https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/321796 ). I wanted to show people the political side of them and have people know, in the words of the great Edoc'sil (oh so many there were - I tend to name my flagship that, and it has only been destroyed once), My power is unmatched!

And I have invented some ship classes if you didn't notice. the background on that is that because this was early war, they would not have advanced their ships yet to include the ships in Sins

yes, weird things happen. but I don't plan on doing the entire story this way - just the first few parts. after that I am going to switch to first person (Katrikkan's POV)

Alright, quick explanation for those who don't understand: a TEC ship (late war) has discovered the Korigul abandoned but intact. they are searching it and sending transmissions of the ship's logs as they translate each entry. they begin at First Contact with Aluxi Dynasty ships

FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!![e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] On the forum home page, click "sins of a Solar Empire" - not one of the categories beneath it- and if you scroll to the bottom, fan submissions is a sub-category

unless you have a FRAKKING slow internet connection (grumblegruble... frakking dial-up... grumblegrumble) I can't get anything other than dial-up where I am at (not even sattelite - tree coverage) comcast says the customer amount would not justify the cost of laying a line to where i'm at (half a mile down the road from the current boundary) and it turns out that if I try to play online, mine is the connection always lagging. literally every 2-3 seconds.
