Since we havn't seen or heard about a new update in a while, it might be a good idea to post some ideas on what we would like to have changed(And let's not turn this into another,"nerf the Marza" contest). The Marza doesn't need nerfed!!! Know why because... THE TEC SUCK AT NEARLY EVERY FORM OF COMBAT! There I said it, and it's true. All we REALLY Have are Marza's, Kodiak's and Hoshiko's. Other than that, we essentially get pwnd in all aspects of combat... the TEC's power is essentially concentrated in these units, with others there just to soak damage and kill of a few enemy ships. Hmm... if someone rushes you, as TEC, and they have Illums and Destra's, counter w/ Dunovs, Cobalts, Percherons (1 fighter 1 bomber) Hoshikos, and your own LRM's and Kodiaks. LRM's have greater range (once fully researched, Mr. Economist) than Illums, so use that to your advantage. Kodiaks also do more damage and are stronger than Destras, so once the Destras close in, counter. Keep your Hoshikos and Dunovs close to the action, they will both repair your damage and slow down
If I had to rate the Caps, based on DPS(w/ strikecraft), Abilities, solo power, and the ability to support their fleet, I would rate them like this: 1. Dunov (1. fleet support, 3 DPS, 2. Abilities, 3 Solo power) 2. Kol (5. fleet support, 1 DPS, 3. abilities. 1 solo power{up to lvl. 6, after that it's Marza}) 3. Marza ( 4. fleet support, 2 DPS, 1 Abilities, 2 solo power) 4. Akkan ( 2. fleet support, 5 DPS, 5 abilities, 5 solo power) 5. Sova ( 3. fl

Hmmm... Having a secondary capital for a secondary system would be nice... but... along with this couldn't you also group a bunch of planets together, within a system, and give the designated group of planets a capital, like how each state in the U.S. has a capital? Then each "state's" maximum allegiance would be measured together as a whole, based on distance from the Main Capital Planet. I dunno... (^) Koda0

Sorry for the delay for my reply, but what I'm saying about the Marza is that the TEC is still a formidable foe, WITHOUT the Marza... With the Marza you can't really lose. Are you playing vanilla or Entrenchment? In Entrenchment, the pirates are massivley de-graded... but if you're playing vanilla I would focus on LRM's, Hoshiko's, and some Kodiak's of your own. Koda0 Also, if you want the pirates to protect your planet, destroy thier planet bombers 1st, then colonize and get the crap outta there

Twin Snakes, how does that work exactly? One starbase to start things up, 2 weapons, 3 hp, 1 trade and 2 hangar, after this 1st one, 2 wp, 3 hp and 3 hangar for the next two, and then the final one has 2 wp, 3 hp , 1 hangar and 2 ship factory. (^) Koda0
