Alright so I really want to play this mod, but it mini-dumps once loading screen has finished and game has started. Help?
I just tried out this mod for the first time today, and so far I'm really impressed with the proggress.The models are great, weapons are awesome, and much more. However the ships are petty weak for the most part with many capitals not being much more powerful than a heavy cruiser in many ways. Also capitals are not distinguishly larger than than most frigates and Cruisers. Ships also go "pop" very shortly after shields go down and shields aren't very powerful either.</p
Very nice. But I can have much bigger avatars on other forums. Say like 1 1/2" for all of those? :D
I didn't say it wasn't fun. I just said it was too realistic.
Well I would love to play this mod, but are there any requirments to play it?? I haven't been able to get the mod to play a map or a game. The game will load and then crash. Any opoinions???
OK. So this mod looked awesome. But I seriously would like some questions answered. What's with the insanely expensive ships?!?!?! And 1% maximum shield mitigations. And 14000 hull points taken down in less than a pinutes by a couple of light frigates. And the research. And the cruisers. I am sorry, but this mod is in its current state a failure in my eyes. Very fun mod. And one question. Hiow come the ships don't have any shields.. at least few hundred points for capitals. ANyway. Love this mod. Also, is there any way to remove the shiny looking weapons effects. I think it's a bit much personally. Also, a custom starbase would be nice as well. The Argonov odesn't fit in to well well with all its lasers, beams, and shields and such.

Interesting. But there's not a chance in the world I would send them off. I think I'll take my chances. But thanks for the offer though. Good to know they may work in SLI with Sins.
Hi all.I just got a couple of new SLI video cards for christmas but does anyone know if Sins will work properly if SLI is enabled?

Well I just installed a new 7950GT 256 mb DirectX 9 graphics card I got for Christmas so we'll see if that changes anything. I sure hoep so. I love Windows 7 and I'd prefer if I didn't have to switch back to XP. Also the computer had 2 GB of RAM if that mattters.
OK, so I haven't been able to get any mod with the exception of the Distant Stars mod to run any longer than 15 minutes or so without getting a mini-dump or a runtime error. This only happens, howeer, when I am running SOASE and the Mods in Windows 7 or Wiondows Vista, but NEVER in Windows XP. Could this be an issue with running 64-bit opperating systems, or is there something about Windows 7 / Vista that just causes Mods to crash?? Do any Windows XP useres ever get mini-dumps?? So I want to do something where I would literally "MOD" my entire home planet to the point where I wouldn't need no use any other planets. Like 30 asteroids, 3000 people, 200 tactical slots, 200% allegience, ect... How would I go about that? What file or files would I need to change? What figures? Any help would be awesome.
I've tried to search my entire computer, search for the files manually, and I do have unseen folder options disabled. Where are they. I have hundreds of screen shots but I can't find them. :(
when will the sins vanilla 1.15 version be out?
Is there a possibility that having more than one mod would cause conflict? I can't resolve this issue. :(
Is there any possiblity that this mod is not compatable with current operating system? I'm using the Windows 7 RC and it appears that several mods do work. I've been thinking of switching back to XP.
