I've never ever played a game that went out of sync all the time, i've played older RTS games and newer ones ..this is the only game i've seen that can't stay in SYNC. This game has to much random generators to be a reliable game. Its been weeks since i've been able to complete a game ..And don't even say that other games get out of sync ..I've never had no problems with any game ..except this one ..the coding for this game was done in a hurry and theres been patch after patch claiming to of

It would be nice to have a fix for the desync issues that plague this game still to this day. I can't figure out why this is still an issue for a game that also provides a server for multi play. This is very disappointing.

OK lets see what I can add here to help get this issue resolved. This isn't just a single map not working i've tried up to 6 of the highest rated maps off the download section of this site. Not a single one of them are loading I find it hard to believe that every single map doesn't have a homeworld established. I'm using v1.12 i've already stated I changed the map to version 2 these maps are off the d/l site. I still don't see why none of them are working for me. All of them go to a victory screen right away. I assumed since they are off the site that they all would all work to the point of being able to load.

I'm having an issue with playing a downloaded map. The problem is I can load the map but as soon as I go to play the map the game ends automatically. I don't have an issue finding the map in the custom folder I changed the versions on all of them to 2. It's just as soon as I go to play the map the game ends and i'm playing with a full contingent of AI players I don't see why the game won't create the map. Thanks
First thing I would do is limit mines to 5 per sector. Secondly I would tie Starbases to Colonizable planets/ asteroids by linking them together. By linking together I mean if a planet or asteroid has a starbase in the same zone the starbase would play as a planetary shield. Just got done playing a game with three people and we all went out of sync of one another. This is with the latest patch. Figured I would make a post so you know it's still there. This is the first time in about 8 or so games that it occured.
With an expansion comes time for the game to be improved all around on some flaws. This isn't just time to improve on and twink the new stuff with the expansion it's also time to fix some minor issues with the original game. Thats why games have expansions to improve on the old and new. - Capital ships although stronger then all the other ships they die way to fast. I was able to get this to work via another mod that had this with it.
I'm still having an issue with installing it. I placed it in the right mod folder this isn't the only mod I have on the computer. I've tried using winrar and 7zip both are extracting the 7 sub folders in the mod file and not the bailknight main folder. For lack of trying I tried to create the bailknight folder and place the 7 sub files into them but that just ended up giving me a mini dump.
Is this working with the new 1.12 patch? Question i'm seeming to have an issue with installing the mod. I unzipped the file into the mod folder and instead of finding a file called bailknight I had the 7 sub folders showing and couldn't locate the bailknight main folder am I screwing something up? Help!

I just got a dump not more then 3 hours ago and its with the 1.12 test version. Also got it with 1.11 as well not sure why it occured but will let you know if I can pin piont the issue down.
If I play on a LAN I do not get this issue its only via either direct IP connection or on the network servers provided via multi player. Either way its frustrating because after a while once you do realize that your game is out of whack its basically two individuals playing the same map but a totally different game. I appreciate the help from the mods and hope we can get this issue squashed. I love the game its just this small issue thats causing problems for us.
I'll shoot you an email but wanted to reply here as well. Unless you're not paying attention when you and whoever you are with are playing. Its impossible not to notice it. Best way to test it me and my brother found out is to do a map where you and another player are close to one another then you and the other guy go from planet to planet and eventually what you see on your screen will go out of whack with the other guy.
