Rush him, Nano-Disassembler will kill him1v1 on small maps. you just need to kill his nonexsstant fleet then his frig factory then his cap factory then millitary labs then civilian labs, dont kill his planets just take out the rest and keep sending out replacement forces. when you hit him he has 3 planets/astroids you have 1 but a fleet. Whle The other LvL6 cap ship abillities may not kill fleets that does not mean it needs a nerf. Apples and Oranges. Advent suport cruisers are both also equiped with counters(thoug 1 needs to be reshearshed) and i supose the armstise abillity is also a counter. Even with all that, the abillity is powerfull. So what, the rest of tec's offence is not that strong compared to the other 2 races.

There are many types of nerfs, what are you thinking about? dmg, salvoes, duration, visual etc etc it's not really an insta gib and even though powerfull it is fairly easy to stop, and if you let it fire 20!!! salvoes then you could most likely have done something diffrently to avoid it doing so or moved your ships. The only change i'd like to see is a better visual so you spot it sooner,imo there are other ultimatas are just as powerfull but in other ways. An Advent fleet with domina

Butt he is right, it's a horribad system, even though i've stopped playing it WOW's updatesystem seems alot smoother, and dossent force you to keep upto date on when patches come out, you just get it when it comes out. imo a much prefered method as my expirience is that at most 25% of a games population reads any boards more than once a month.

Is it possible to mod sins fleet mangement? 1/ afaik you need to have the stikecraft selected to tell them what to attack. 2/ the allmighty Alt button-- press alt and clik a type of ship and you select all of that type in the grav well 3/ not to my understanding, but you can move them prior to the battle to off atleast some initial protection.

I agree, but it seems like it will not change in the near furure. the first mini x-pack is to flush out defences while the 2'nd should be about the diplomacy. but imo the should start with fixing the AI, it's really bad compared to other rts games

I will, but atm my shedule only alowes for 30-45min gaming intervalls so im stuck playing in sp for the time being.QQ anyway after getting top20 in RA2 back in the day im tired of rushing(dang im getting old), and as far as i can see online play seems to be scuot rusing or die in small maps or loose 1'st battle and surrender on large maps. it seems better suited for lan multiplayer than online gaming playing for 4hours just to have someone chrash so it effectivly becomes 2v1 is
