Well, trade ports always in the back for frontline planets, whatever is shortest for a trade lane for the backyards... Pirates tend to chase after trade ships and just supply free xp for capital ships.

Search your registry and clear it of all entries for Sins, Entrenchment, and Impulse (after uninstalling) and try again. If It doesn't work, try using ccleaner.

Hi, It was named so because of marketing names. If it is called "Stardock Central," would you really believe it sells video games (until Sins of a Solar Empire, that is). Impulse sounds... impulsive?
