Well... you still need a tool, but how about http://www.anim8or.com/main/index.html ? I still like softimage 6.5 better. (or the softimage modtools... which is a free version of xsi without most of the rendering stuff...

Ah.... Homeworld. Too bad my comp (well, vista) doesn't seem to like this game too much.
Right now pirates are just free experience!
6 days!!!
The SP and MP mode play the same way (you can even take a MP game and play it SP!). Both are ALL modes of skirmish (including 1v1).
Is there a "virtual display" mode? A function (primarily) found on older notebooks to compensate for their lack of high resolution displays. It put a "virtual" display at (say, 1024x768) while only showing 1024x600. If you moved your mouse cursor over to the edge of the screen, however, it would scroll down, sort of like an RTS (without the zoom to cursor function). Hope this helps! (this was part of windows 98?)
[quote who="FrostMage" reply="3" id="1783606"]I like the idea of the burnt out shells of former space stations with an option when the planet is recolonized to scuttle them or restore them if they are of the same tech. For scuttling them you would get a minor amount of raw materials back. And to restore them it would cost like 5 or 10 percnet less than normal. As far as dead ships floating around... I think that would probably take up too much processor power... unless... I got it!
1024x600, you got a netbook? Sins interface is optomized for larger sizes, I thought?
According to Kirk: it's in the chair where you make the difference. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/James_T._Kirk#The_Nexus_and_Death Anyways... anybody play Starfleet Command 3 here?
[quote who="Annatar11" reply="5" id="2063341"]Impulse is a clean program. It doesn't install other junk. It doesn't mess with your browser settings in any way. It does have an option to add a tiny start-up app to make Impulse launch faster when you launch it - it just preloads a few things into memory and just sits there. You can disable it (is it disabled by default now?). It needs space because it downloads to a temporary folder, then extracts and installs in the proper path. But
OR, the TEC just was "soft" and "easy" (intro video) - part of that being the first to be designed (ingame). But if you look at the trailer (which is beta), they really have improved ALOT. Now for the 12 o'clock question: Would you call a missle a rocket... I mean same tech, right? (nope) Would you call a tank a armoured car? They both spurted out of similar ideas? (nope) Why call a 3d model pixels (though that term can be correct - everything st
Well, if you want to see helpless souls dying out on an alien surface... play Silent Hunter 4. (c'mon, 2000km out, the ocean get alien really fast)
TEC economy should be able to just steam roll, even IF you wiped out his/her fleet (likely not his/her only one).
Well, 2Kols, 4Garda Flaks, (about 7) Kodiaks, and 4 tec scouts (mostly for the structure kill)vs 20 carriers ends up with the carriers being knuckeled over. EDIT: however, I play multi very rarely.
Nagh... Let us keep our lame, easy tactics. Only way to counter carrier spam seems to be to counter spam with carrier (fighters only, no bombers). Oh well.... Maybe Entrenchment Final will add some "super flak" ability, or (dunno if this works) you can use the Vasari superweapon on a "danger close" (with a nuke for comparison...) Thanks! -Jeremy
How about: Win a game without build starbase killers Win a game with ONLY starbases and frigates Win a game without doing ANY research!!
How about commissioning privateers? After conquering the pirate base(s), you get the ability to build cheap pirate ships (funded by booty)that can "suck" credits out of building while dealing damage? (even when no bounty is applied).
SLI=Yes, (I think, anyways). I believe SLI is on the GPU side of stuff... Dual/Tri/Quad... UPTO 2. Limited in using the other core ONLY for textures. Most of the stuff is on the first core. Make sure you get a fast cpu, or tell your BIOS to present it as one logical cpu (with lots of speed). EDIT: That's a nice system, but in reality, I never build mine (past a certain point anymore) because of how cheap
Well, if so, I would like a more Starfleet Command 3 type game... Maybe with Bridge Commander's manuverability, but with sc3's features (+learning curve).
You're always welcome.
Well, the TEC scout needs 900 sec cooldonw, so it is just a hit and run weapon OR a fleet support weapon. The AI seems to have no targeting priorities whatsoever against 20 or so (cheap) TEC scouts. EDIT:Though I was playing on the map where the two homeworlds were point blank...
Yeah, and we have 3d phase lanes...
OR, make the planet have double hp, making taking out the SB a priority now.
Or you have gfx turned down and cannot see asteroids+junks.
Dunno, for the flak, I just build (TEC) my hangars right next to it. Also, I don't play multiplay, so I don't know what a human would do in targeting priorities.
