That usually gets you killed. I like well worn paths with no surprises. I say you write that compact code when you are launching a satellite to the outer

35 years coding and I still have not found the ultimate language. I do like brevity though. And of course we can all comment our work to the point of ridiculousness. And have you ever come in behind people who were better coders but incapable of writing a single comment to explain "their awesomeness." When you're part of a team you rise or fall together; that includes the people who have to maintain your work 15 years from now. C++ and Java

Just facing the Borg now. Took a while to figure out the balance in the system. Nice model work. Definitely a keeper. Gonna spend a lot of my time off on this. Thank you Armada III team. To make a VOD of a game on PC google: Fraps, Camtasia and Bandicam. Read the descriptions and critics. Some of them have versions you can try before you buy. Fraps is very hard on your system resources. Everyone likes what they use best. Be smart. Do the research. I chose Bandicam because it created files that were really small compared to Fraps. It also seemed to be less of a resource hog.

I'm sure you don't "suck". The fact that you like Sins and want to play it makes you an outstanding individual. If the people around you don't like Sins then get thee hence to another location. Have you tried the Sacrifice of Angels mod for Diplomacy? Look it up on Moddb.com You will scream and cry with joy. Then rage because you are just finding out about it now. Then joy again as you face the Borg. Try playing wit

I am now and ever shall be a "COLLECTOR". [e digicons]:smitten:[/e] I don't know what it means to be a collector in this new era. Maybe companies can segue to a displayable, dare I say it, collectible, art piece with a beautiful frame and letter of authenticity. The art piece could be a lithograph in limited edition signed by the programmers. Maybe a book will come with it. The book would let us in on the behind the scenes

The Intrepid class has an ability that you can use to knock out a Borg's abilities for a short while. I like a 5 Intrepid per 1 Borg ratio in early game. I think a 10 to 1 is appropriate in late game. Whatever you do turn off autocast of the Intrepid's abilities cast them your self to make them as effective as possible. Learn to use the pause key in Borg battles. Also make sure to research as many shield, phaser and anti-matter regeneration levels as poss

Keep 4 or 5 Sabers (more if you need an even faster shield boost) away from the action. When the fighting is done these guys will get your fleet back on the road way faster than the other races. They become meat shields when they are mixed in with your fleet (as support ships draw fire) but it's borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. backs out of the room slowly...
