Disclaimer: I don't wish to be a wet blanket and I am looking forward to this game as much as the rest of you. Wait a couple weeks/months check Green Man/Amazon/Steam and it will be on sale for 1/2 price or less. And you will have the benefit of the reviews to help you make an informed decision. I played my second time yesterday. SOA2 on ICO of course. This time teamed up (with the same guy who broke me into little pieces) against the Borg. I lasted longer than a few minutes so it was fun. And you are right. Players need to consider relative skill level or it's no fun for anybody, unless you are secretly sadistic or masochistic. I honestly don't care for Titans. I would like a way to turn them off in the game; super weapons too.
