I play exclusively against the AI huge random maps 10 player all hard sometimes adding in economy, research or aggressive. And I know that I am playing against an AI so I try not to exploit that fact (for the love of the game). And usually I am playing SOA 2 mod. These games can stretch over several days. It's an epic space opera (and no one can hear you scream). [e digicons]:borg:[/e] If you are so constrained when playing a multi-pla

Did anyone else hear the Star Wars theme song while reading the Opening Scroll Version 1? I'm happy for you GoaFan it looks like you really developed an idea that combined your passions. And because I'm going to get to play this too. backs out of the room slowly... [e digicons]*_*[/e] [e digicons]*_*[/e]

Pirates! Pirates and more Pirates! I love them and I love to hate them. I like the way pirates are being handled in Sacrifice of Angels 2 Rebellion. It's out of the box. backs out of the room slowly... [e digicons]*_*[/e] [e digicons]*_*[/e]

Turchany said: 1. (NEW SHIPS FOR ONE OF THE FACTIONS)add unique ship types so the factions will not look totally the same, one of the 2 factions could inherit the original ones, maybe the loyalist ones, and rebels shoudl get new ship types not to look totally the same. Though I am aware of the 2GB RAM limit stuff or something and know that this cannot be done, so ignore it. I'm sorry to inform you but you are not wrong. This could be accomplished in the form of mods

I love this dreamer. He's blasting through everything like nothing is impossible. And now that I see the free flying vid above maybe he'll have a brainstorm and figure out a way to make it available in the future. He seems to be able to do anything he puts his mind too. backs out of the room slowly (in awe of this man's work)... [e digicons]*_*[/e] [e digicons]*_*[/e]

You know little things like this are important. They are part of our collective Sins history, our communal story. It's like losing your little toe. It's not as important as your big toe in day to day activities; still, if you lost it, you would remember it fondly. I know what it's like to lose something you love (and then maintain a minimum required distance - for now - [e digicons]o

I live the SOA2 mod. I play it 99.99% of the time that I play Sins and I still get chills when I hear: "We are the Borg." <

Norway has anti-assimilation ability. A couple of those in your fleet will assist you. The number you need depends on your play style. And I have said it before the "Pause" key should have a special place in your heart when fighting the Borg (you are not, will never be, unless you are Data, as fast as the AI). Oh, and don't forget the Picard Maneuver. [e digicons];)[/e] backs out of the room slowly...[e digicons]*_*[/e] [e d

Cultural differences can be like landmines. My wife freaked out the first time I touched the top of her head. She is Thai. Thais also have a thing about touching things or pointing at things with your feet. And not all Thai care about such things so even the rule is the exception. I don't have a clue how the Tec and Vasari are ever going to work together, even if the rumours are true. backs out of the room slowly... [e d

This project has ships with moving turrets (which always makes me smile [e digicons]^_^[/e] ) and a whole lot more. It's down to it's last 5 days on Kickstarter. It's already reached it's modest $20,000 starting goal but I think it should have received a lot more love. Here's a link to the latest video created using in game assets. My only problem playing SOA2 doesn't come from the mod, it comes from the diplomacy problems of the standard game. When my allies start killing each other or leave the gravity well when the Borg show up it makes me pull my hair out. Is there anyway to get my allies to all hold hands and sing kumbaya when the Borg try selling their magazines door to door? When fighting the Borg, as an Andorian [e digicons][/e] , you must be aggressive. If you turtle they will steamroll you. So scouting is important and get that "Lingering Persistence" upgrade so that when your scouts are destroyed you can keep an eye on our Borg buddies. If you are lucky enough to spawn next to the Borg get 6 Intrepid as soon as possible. Use them as a kill team. Queens can be nasty. Remember time is your enemy with the B

This was a good learning experience. I stayed up till midnight (Eastern Standard Time) thinking it would just magically appear on your site or Steam. I'll be at work when it drops then; thus delaying my gratification. Oh Stardock you have taught me so many of life's important lessons. backs out of the room slowly...
