Well, I usually find out that fleets composed of the same ships usually make a pretty good wall formations, but when other ships are added, they become clumps. I guess that sort of helps, but not really. [e digicons]:S[/e]

Hello, Well I updated sins to the latest patch (1.19) today, but when I tried to play the game, I immediate get a "Mini Dump" issue and can't play. I have not installed any mods to the game, Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
Well, he's not answering back. That my be a bad sign.
Sounds just like the map i'm playing on right now-5-star map. I hate the wormholes on this map though, they give five entry points to my galexy of origin! It wasn't quite so fun worrying about some extra-galactical emipire poping out from a wormhole as I got my hands fun conquring another. At least they AIs were content at fighting each other in the other galaxy and not bother with me until later on, but that's another story. So i still faced only 3 empires at once, (4 if you count the empire
I AM a vasari in this campaign lol. But still, i don't think that players can build phase stablizers on enemy/neutral planets, so i doubt jumping from one of the home plantes a planet of an enemy planet. Anyway, I think i misphrased the question. I was trying to to ask people about how many enemies they faced at once, not how many are POSSIBLE! My bad, sorry. And i highly doubt 9 is the answer: 1. because, that's a lot of enemies to cover and 2. some empire was bound to die before that point.
This may be a little weird, but today I was playing sins and just found out that the wormhole right in the middle of my empire leads to another galaxy! Currently, i have two AIs at my borders, but if i send an invasion fleet through the wormhole, i could be fighting 3+ AIs to deal with (I'm an a semi-newb, so this hasn't happened to me before because i've been fighting smaller maps). The got me thinking about how many empires could a person have at his/her border. Which leads to my question:
Holy shit that is a long strategy. I'm still a semi-beginner (haven't fought off 2 hard AI's yet), but here is a tip, once the pirates time hits zero it only means that a pirate raid is IMMENENT. It is about that time when the AI places more bounty on you. If you have the volume on, the comupter will tell that. So THATS when you pay attention to the bounty beacuse asort while latter it would say the pirate raiders are launched-which basiclly mean whoever has the highest bounty THEN would be t
You should try to destroy the enemy cultural structures so that they won't incite any more "rebellion". You don't have to full out attract the planet if your fleet's not ready, just send a decent amount frigates and order them to attack cultural structures After that some make your own so that you could a)keep enemy culture out and/or b)make them lose their planets. I think that researcher means that the AI would expand in between aggressor and fortifier, but researches alot more, so they would have some strong, well researched ships; economist would have weak ships but a ton of them. I hope this helps!
That's probably a good idea for this situation. I admit I haven't truely encounted a real 2 front problem this early before, i never though about a second space egg untl late game. [e digicons]:-"[/e]
[quote who="Orodum" reply="4" id="2007788"]then I'd say find where the two strong empires' fronts meet, and hit one of each of their planets. the AI will always break off any attack to rescue their planets, as long as they have some form of sizeable force. I would suggest pitting the AIs against each other with bounty. (i.e. place a decent sum on each, to start a bidding war between them. another idea is to use an extremely strong counterattack. as soon
Whoops, forgot the quote! [e digicons]>_>[/e] sorry about that.
Thx for some of the advise. But what's my main problem is that the weakened empire is on the other side of the star system, meaning to get to that empire, i have to go through another, what I'm asking is whether or not to spend some credits to put bounty on the other AIs. Sort of a silly question, but i want to know. I'm playing as vasari if that's any help.
Thank's Kryo!
I have this major problem where i can't record, load or save on sins (besides for autosave)! [e digicons]:O[/e] Is this a real problem or do i need to do something to like *earn* the right? Please help!
I've been playing sins off and on for about a year, and after fighting off 2 hard AIs with and ally, i've decided to lock teams and fight off 3 AI'S alone on a ramdom medium map. After about half hour of playing, I begin to worry a bit about the pirates. No, they are attacking me, but the bounty always seems to go to the AI on the other side of the map. This worrienow i'm facing with 2 empire at my borders clamoring over choke points with me on the losing side. It seems as both AIs are using
