Hello there, I've been playing this game for a while now, and trolling the forums for a bit as well. I've read a lot of the threads on these forums, hoping to improve my strategy (which has worked though). I do have one question though. What does, according to you, a ballanced fleet look like? What kind of units should be in it, and how many of them? I have thought about this a lot, since it's one of the things I should improve upon. My basic ballanced fleet isn

Yes, Kruppe, I do agree with you that the 4X gameplay is a lot better than ye olde starcraft zerg rushes. I was a bit vague in my previous post. I wasn't talking about gameplay-wise slow, but grapically. My computer already has some problems with my occasional Illuminator spam. I'm afraid that it'll start to lag heavily when I'm going to build such a starbase.

Okay, after playing another game with the TEC, it has oficially become my second most liked race to play. The hoshiko/high health works even better than the Advent's counterpart, the Mothership/guardian. This is partially because of the early techs which help it to become increasinlgly more effective, but mostly because it's much easier to use. My favourite are by far the Advent. I love their looks and powers. I do play with the other races from time to time though.
