As a player of vassari I've noticed that I don't need the extractor upgrades. I'm always credit starved and just fine with metal and crystal. BTW, while it's a late to get tech I always grab improved fleet communications from the military side.

So do you get bounty for killing someone with a bounty on them?

For my friend that has been tried but didn't work.

Wasn't able to see the video, but thought it's a bad idea to capture planets too quickly. As in it makes you vulnerable and hurts cash flow.

I've noticed that sort of thing happening alot of times but not only cap ships. I've resorted to staying in the gravity well until every ship has jumped. I've also noticed my groups taking side routes.

I'm not sure what his native resolution is but he's pretty good at keeping his display within the limits of his card. And he has to cycle through a bunch of reolutions during the game just to get a playable game.

I'm typing this for a friend of mine, who has difficulty reading. His system generally works fine but he has encountered a problem with SOUS. Whenever he plays his map is pixelated and he needs to cycle through a number of resolutions and refresh rates etc. Then he'll find something that he can see with (not great but playable) until he shifts from one gravity well to another. He uses a system with vista and a new ati video card with the latest drivers.
