Pirate fleet sizes are based on how big your empire is, the initial first expansions in pirate fleet size happen rapidly but slow down towards the later expansions, focusing more on upgrades. The way I deal with pirates is to rush out 2 caps and their attendant ships, 1 trade port at the nearest planet to the pirate base and just sit there with 1 cap and defenses, while the 2nd cap and its ships focus on expansion. You can change around with this but the general guide is trade and refinery sh

It depends on people's preferences, the Akkan is quite a good support ship and the stun can make sure the enemy never escapes as it has a CD of only like 7 secs?? lower if u lvl it up. But also it very rapidly speeds up expansion in the early stages, which can be a BIG advantage.
In such a situation, what I would do is to bring in a fleet, doesn't really matter which faction ur using, and move it out of range of the enemy's weapons. then essentially i just establish air supremacy and use all my SC to slowly take down the enemy defenses. It takes a long time, but it works.
Simple, apart from the 1 heavy cruiser, the others are just support units, or diplomatic envoys. Theres also the problem of having to research them, and even when u do u face the problem of temporarily depleting ur fleet to upgrade it, which is very bad when ur attacking or under attack. Although it is true that they do give u more bang for your resources, it might not be needed or be useful to you enough to scrap ur current Disciple fleet to get, say a Crusader.
There is no single answer here, it relies on what kind of players the enemy are. Are they defensive or aggressive? How spread out are they? How well are u fortified in the SS? How is everyone's tech level? If the enemy has a truly overwhelming force, it might be best to lose the SS and beat a tactical retreat with some losses rather than try and hold the SS and getting steamrolled. If they have surrounded u, chances are their at least somewhat spreadout, so try and
Thats the Titan's ulti, and u can counter it easily by running away. It self destructs after a while.
Use anti air units like fighters and AAA ships. Also, research and use any AOE anti air units u have, like the Halcyon and Sentinel. Those do wonders against SC spams.
Maybe the AI was taking down ur strikecraft?? Also, was he taking out anything of yours like ships, structures or whatnot??
I really like your idea, but I think maybe instead of buffing animosity for the Radiance via increased fire rates, maybe we could have it increase its damage resistance or implement some element of regeneration.
It lasts for an economically painful 30 minutes, although thankfully I prefer that to the loosing my fleet. At least it doesn't buff the enemy or totally disable me XD
1. When enemy attacks and destroys your civilian ships, Refinery/Trade ships, does this disrupt your income? Does each ship produce a certain amount of resources? ANS: Yes, income will drop when refinery and trade ships die. As more of these ships fall, income falls proportionately. 2. Are Easy AI's really Easy? i have played a few FFA matches and i find an Easy AI pinning down a more "Harder" AI and taking there planets. On one occasion, an "Easy" sen

The Deliverance Engine massively boosts ur culture on the target planet and temporarily can turn it into something like a culture hub itself. It also gives a 20% damage boost to all allied ships in the area both at the point of impact as well as any other allied ship that jumps in after that for a good long time, long enough to beat the **** out of the enemy. It is very useful in an assault due to the 20% damage bonus it gives to allied fleets, which can mean the differ
TEC Loyalists are meant to support large fleets and consolidate advances. Alone, TEC Loyalists fare very poorly. The way the upgrades and fleets are structured, they seem highly attuned to multiplayer battles, supported an allied fleet with a more offensive purpose. I've played before in matches with my cousin using Vasari Rebels while I used TEC Loyalists, and they do a very excellent job of allowing my fleets to stay alive long enough and cripple the enemy sufficient to allow us to win
Up against Advent factions, its highly advised to build up your culture real quick. Caps and Titans can only repel culture, not spread it. SBs can however be upgraded to spread culture. Your best bet is to seek out the enemy's culture hubs and take them out before falling b to colonize and consolidate.
The Kol (and maybe the Corsev) are the only true combat capital ships ever designed by the TEC. All others are actually retrofitted from civilian or industry ships. I'm not even sure the Corsev is a dedicated combat ship as it has very lack luster stats and abilities, which don't seem to fit the role of a combat ship. Rather, it gives me the impressive that this was a very hastily converted boarding ship. Which kinda explains y the TEC have some of the most unorthodox loo
I would like the synergistic effects, but NOT TO THE EXTENT that you are suggesting.
Sorry, but I don't approve. It just doesn't fit into the lore. I'd much rather have nerfs of the Vasari SBs.
I very much approve of your version of the phase missile blocks, cuz right now, whenever I play against Advents using Vasari, I practically steamroll them, in fact, its not uncommon for me to strip their hulls even when their sheilds still stand, which is getting to be a bit ridiculous XD But that said, any changes should be made carefully. I would however, be in favour of an improvement in Advent economy, cuz they do tend to get VERY hammered in the mid and early game by all oth
You have to keep in mind that the Ankylon's effective capability is linked to how large a fleet it is supporting. I will agree that the Ankylon is not as bad as people say it is (I actually prefer it to the Ragnarov), but that dependance on having a supporting fleet can be detrimental. Its kind of like your greatest strength and weakness. If u can keep ur fleet alive, Ankylons are gonna make people pull their hair out, but if u can effective eliminate the fleet, Ankylons will die really q
Naw, if u follow the news, Rebellion sold EXCEPTIONALLY WELL. But the thing is multiplayer matches take a LONG time. So most people might have simply chosen to go purely offline, heck everyone I know in real life that plays this never goes online (including myself) simply because it takes too long.
LOL the advent are not under mind control, they just have a sort of collective conscience or "hive" mind as you might say. But the people are still individuals and can disagree with others. Its just that usually the leaders are the ones who make decisions using this collective mindset. But apparently after 30 years of war, some sectors got too pissed or something and rebelled against their leaders, creating a new collective conscience if u will.
Just don't let advent players tech up, allowing them to do so makes it very hard for yourself late game as their fleets are very much about late game synergy.
We should play a multiplayer match with Bronies against non-Bronies.
LOLOLOL I second that XD I'll be the spectator. Time for some popcorn. Oh and hi everyone X3
