i think a new race would be a nice addition, but you could be a mysterious one that shows up in the second xpack but you cant play them until the 3rd or something of that fashion. It would add a bit to the vasari side i guess at who they are running from. Also more planet types would be nice as well as well as massive mother ships kind of like the starbases xcept actual ships.
So I have started downloading the patch twicebut after it is all downloaded it just gets stuck saying "Varifying Download"... For the past THREE DAYS!!!! I would like to get the patch instaled so i can get to my game that i paid for (Entrenchment) so i could play it. Does anyone know wtf is going on and how I can Fix it? I am starting to get very frustrated
my version is not even verifying the download whic is annoying since i downloaded it yeaterday! and its only the patch for SoaSE!
have you downloaded the latest update for SoaSE? It says on the update page in the forum that you need 1.15 in order to run SoaSEE. That is the problem for me i believe.

This is true. However it is not run by one company or body like socialized health care. Also, if our markest were more free then the compition between the companies would also help with any sort of cost etc. Moreover, the main problem with insurance companies is that pact that they are pubicly owned with stocks etc. and according to law the only concer to them is to turn a profit for their investors, thus pushing people who really need the help out beforethey really get it.
the health care is not free. you are paying for someone else to use it while you are healthy and if you go through life without using it you would be waisting your money
i was in this problem just a little while a go and i ended up getting a game called sword of the stars. it is a tbs in empire mode and rts in combat. it has a really extensive research tree and the galaxy can have hundreds upon hundredsa of planets. i think this will satisfy your craving for epic empire play
after playing with rome total war as my real first tbs/rts and being that i am a history major i will eat this shit up! i cant wait to take over the colonial world! [e digicons]k6[/e]
i think they should add new intro stories to the expansion packs. i would like to see the universe explained that way

does anyone know of a map of the terrortory that each race holds in the galaxy? That information would help with the creation or give an explanation for the emergance of any sort of race that might come in next instalments. It is kinda hard to tell the extent of each empire in the story they give us in the manual because the game and story are not really linked in any way, as well as the fact the large maps that you can play are 20ish stars and that is no galaxy. That is one
i think it would be interesting to see a way in which you could choose a government form such as dictatorial, theocratic (mostlikely for the advent) republic, etc. And witht that the constant threat that there might be a civil war of some kind or other political consiquences. Adding politics to the batch of things to do would be interesting.

how does one go about creatng a background like this?
i always liked the idea of building ones own ships however i do know that that would be somewhat impractacl in this game due to the fixed races and culture, Also i think that the ability to board and steal enemy ships or structures would be a neat concept to do in a space combat setting, like the advent could use telekinesis or something like that to take over the minde of the crew etc.. i have some other ideas but they need to be a bit refinrd so i will be back soon
while i do like the way that the back story is presented in the manual and the website i do wish there was a bit of a more focused direction for the background. Im not exactly asking for a storyline in the game or something, however i do think text based stories that come out once and a while would ba a cool little thing to do.
at the moment i go by the Immortal Crusaders with each faction. I havent really taken the time yet to create seprate names for each faction nor have i gotten to the point of naming capitol ships or planets.
Well would that mean that what the Vasari are running from would be advent-esque? Or could it be some sort of ancient race that is even older than the Vasari that they somehow awakened or provoked or unintentanlly brought from another galaxy?
