I sorted it out. I had two SoSE installations, and I was moving the map to the other directory than the shortcut was using. User error 40. Thanks tho =)

Could you imagine being the poor kid with that name, and sitting through history class, with the other kids looking back at you every time the name Adolf Hitler is mentioned? Gotta be worse than a spontaneous teen boner.
Are they not about to make the current Fast speeds the Normal speed in Entrenchment?
IF you are unwillingly to do that I hereby request that you have a coke and a smile and STFU. .
LMAO - Did you go to buy a TICKUT?
Not sure if this is the right section, but I think it's the closest one =) I played in this map yesterday, after adding a few planets, redoing phase lanes and just generally basic layout stuff it won't work any longer. It says all opponents has been defeated. What have I done wrong? Apart from being a lousy map creator.
I wish the upkeep was based upon the number of ships you currently have, and not on how many you're able to have.
How do I use them effectively? Assailants with this ability seem to require tons of micro managing which isn't easy if you have 20 or more in a large fleet.
Thanks Annatar =)
Hello again, Is there a mod (or can one be made) that adds a research to the Vasari, that will allow for using phase stabilizers across stars?
Could be that I had forgotten to research it, though I usually do, but will keep an eye on it.
Hi all, Sometimes I find that even if my ships are in a gravity well that has a Phase Stabilizer they want to jump to the next planet or the next again, before using the Phase Stabs. The Phase Stab is constructed, and it only seems to be temporary but varies between 2 minutes to 15 minutes, of it not working correctly. Is this a mechanic I've missed, or is it a bug? I find this sometimes to also be the case with the Marauders Phase Stab ability as well. Sometime
Ok new question for the pop quiz master. I asked yesterday about changing the hyperspace antimatter requirements, and that worked (duh), but is it possible to change it for each ship individually as well?
I'm scared too..... Ah too bad, would've been awesome. Thanks in any case though =)
Thanks man! Karma given =) Another question, is it possible to mod it so that allies can use the phase stabilizers I build and vice versa?
Ok, I've been scouring GameInfo files for nearly 2 hours, and I most likely can't see the forest for the trees. How can I change the amount of antimatter phasejumping steals?
To clarify, if I buy a game at a store (whether if it is new or unused is irrelevant), and this game contains some critical bugs making the game crash, not run, run poorly, etc, regardless if I am with an internet connection I should be able to get a patch for that. After all that is what patches are, they're patching it up because it's flawed/broken/whatever. Version 1.00 works fine and does not crash, your point
Thanks Annatar =D, Karma granted!
First off: I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANOTHER SINGLE PERSON SAYING: "It says so in the EULA!". Because no matter what the EULA says, by the time you read it you have already unwrapped the damn game and relinquished your rights to return it. GOTTIT?!!?!?!? :P Reaching page 5 I no longer bothered to read more because it was all the same, but I wonder: Could it all be a simple misunderstanding? I too, like epiclulz, believe that patches should be freely available for down
I don't think anybody asked for a complete removal of mines, but an option to toggle them on and off for each game.
How would I go about changing the explosion radius on the Gravity Warhead or the Explosives Nanites ability on Vasari capital ships? (Kortul and the big lumpy ship).
Newbs are generally williing to learn whilst n00bs is a lifestyle of stupidity and immaturity and will always stay the same until beaten up badly enough several times in a row, this will force the slider of "n00bness" towards "Acceptable", but only slightly, keep beating them badly enough and in the end they will have learned. Not because they were willing to but because they had too... Darwinism! *gives himself an A+*
Or scouts if you play as vasari.

The way that starbases work right now is acceptable, if you ask me, but there's always room for improvement and modding and I sure wouldn't mind seeing some changes myself. Make starbases' capacity for upgrades based on levels. Stages maybe... Said levels will have to be bought, it will not gain Experience from combat or kills. With the increase of starbase level, the maximum number of upgrade slots available also increases.</li
Not only do they make it longer but it also increases the potential for lag, so for purely performance wise reasons mines should be toggleable, and adding an option to turn on/off capital ships is actually a pretty cool idea now that you mention it. If you would like to play with, you play with, if you'd like to play without, you can play without.
