I have never known anyone who sucessfully SLIED sins of a solar empire. trinity, or rebellion. I have known people who had serious issues with it and had to turn it off to make the game playable, though.
one guess into how much faster 8x speed is. hint. its double 4x speed. the settings like income speed and ship speed are not game speed. you can put them all on faster, and 8x, or you could put them at slow and at 8x. you cant use the speed settings in multiplayer. but there games end much faster due to humans being humans.

just noticed that the steam statistics are lagging. that data point was captured 2.5 hours ago or so. so we need to wait for steam's statistics to update. so 78. lets see what steam says when it catchs up. and we also really need to pick multiple times and points to be able to draw a statisticly valid conclusion.

The thing is, appeasing the 15 % will only help to improve the game for the 85%. If you look at steam's # of players that played steam and the ICO's online count at peak hours, it would suggust that more than 15% of the playerbase play multiplayer... and that doesnt include lan. Id be willing to wager that 50% ish or of the people that start up rebellion these days are playing ICO or private games. Id expect that number to drop when si

Not disagreeing book. the multiplayer system is very pathetic. and Seleucia is right. the devs care only for single player. What I want is proof showing that multiplayer is worth investing in, so that we can show the devs multiplayer is worth investing in.
You should produce some numbers on the " you will still fall back on, "well nobody plays multiplayer", " bit. Prove them wrong to some degree by presenting evidence, instead of just meaningless rants.
want some slam? sure I just played through all three campaigns. First time playing galactic civilizations. so. 1. The ai is incredibly stupid. I thought tough would be tough, so i started there... the second campaign i upped it to painful, and then crippling... still kicked ass easy. Even played one mission on suicidal. Apperently 'normal' the ai gets penelties? and 'tough' is 'dead even'?

nopes. yeps. alt click an illum, but then you gotta tabqtabqtabq to get them all to use the ability. or suicide scouts. or democharge scouts. not sure about charging missles or cluster warheads.
sareth has just lost every ounce of respect any sins player had for him. As far as playing the market. best bet would be tec, after researching the discounts tech with a vasari ally to give you the pricing pact. Margins would be very low i would imagine... it should be testable in the dev.exe

happens ocsasionally. just part of random maps being random. nothing to worry about. though... if they ever get around to fixing the random map generator... that would be the tine where they should also implement the ability to have symetrical random maps. for the win.

the reducing repair bay (and other hull healing) effect though is really nice. the antishield thing is really kinda circumstantial... useful only if going against an advent with a progen. :-/
