The Advent can research Homing Mines, but these mines mereley produce whats known as a Mine Layer, which activates an Ability/Buff to transform itself into mines and thus discontinues being part of a squadron (Developers will know what I mean). I personally would like to see the Abilities removed from the Squad Entity Files and transferred to the Fighter/Bomber Entity Files, as I would like Homing Mines a great deal more if 1) They remained part of a squadron, therefore repl

Just updated the time line slightly and managed to complete the first "Log" of a race, when all three have there log each I will reveal the fourth race, though you are very close already ha ha. modifying the prirate composition has never been an issue for me since they re-did it in Diplomacy, you can specify composition of fleets, numbers even add your own cap ships and things. P.S. Would love to see a pic of the titan sized fighter!!!

Ah I see, I remember when I first tried to install it, it wasn't working, thought if I could have a play around with it again. Its a shame as it really would be a good idea. Did anyone pursue the avenue of when Cap Ships are jumping out system, fighters automatically return to the hangers on those ships, could we create something which states automatically return to hangers unless there is an enemy present?

The one way Stardock do need to improve the AI I have noticed whilst using the Dev.exe is enabling it to sell structures to build different ones, depending on circumstance, Example: I was playing on a small map where most of the Planets required research to colonise, I being a human built 2 civ research and gained access to the technologies to colonise the planets which require research to colonise.
