if you stagger them, they should work. i mean, hit one, wait til 30 seconds after the ships arrive, then hit the other. then you wouldn't have to wait for the cooldown, and you would get 2 RAs. but it's only theory
Well yeah, I activated them immidietely one after the other.
I am assuming that you did.
I did because I had to build frigates afterwords to help my fleet out. (Or maybe that was because my ships were getting destroyed that I had room.)
[PS. I thot the cooldown was 10 minutes, not 15].
Probably is. I edited my post because I wasn't entirely sure, but it got quoted anyway.
I didn't think so. I had a slot to spare, and I knew what I was doing. (Or thought I did...) I thought the benefit of summoning two RA fleets would pay off.
Well, by the look of it activating two RAs in the same gravity well only gives you one RA. (Though they still take the resources.)
Why would you have 2 in the same well? That makes absolutely no sense. to me. I do know personally (I did it last night) that you can have multiple Stabilizers in seperate wells and use them all at once and get 7-10 ships per at RA level 2. This was in v1.12. I then moved all 37 ships to the furthest stabilizer out (the one closest to my fleet) and had them join my attacking Armada within a couple of minutes of all of them
well... you would say that 'twas overpowered in the feedback section, but here you would try to convince people not to use it, bcuz you couldn't beat it. Contrary to popular accusation, I'm actually basing my opinion completely off my own experience as a Vasari player. If I was Advent or TEC and just hated the ability because I couldn't beat it, why would I come in here saying it sucks? Wouldn't I say it was overpowered? First let me ask a question, does activating two Stabilizers in the same gravity well, one after another, grant you one or two Returning Armadas? Because I activated two stabilizers (Wit

I think it sucks. You spend thousands and thousands of resources researching it, then you spend a few thousand building the Phase Stabilizer(s), then you spend another few thousand activating the ability, which has a very, very long cooldown, and your reward is about 5 mismatched ships per Stabilizer. Don't use it, it'll lose you the game.
@ ThaMahstah I agree about dual cores, but quads aren't just for multi-tasking. In addidtion to multi-tasking, quads are good at handling things like media transcoding and 3d rendering for those who do a lot of creative type things. Transcoding a video or rendering a 3d scene on a quad core will be about 2x faster than on a dual core of the same frequency.
Yes, that too. [quote who="MetaCog" reply="6" id="201191
But in all seriousness, the counter for carrier spam is easy. I just did this in a game, so it works. Build a few fighter squadrons yourself. It doesn't need to be a massive swarm. 1/4 to 1/3 of the enemy's total number will do. Almost the entire rest of your fleet should be frigates, but throw in a few heavy hitters. (Like your capital ship and a few missile craft or illuminators.) Don't bother with many flak ships, if you do at all. You should have at least as many fr
Build more carriers faster. Multiplayer is carrier wars. Remember, once your opponent gets 20 carriers up on you no number of Frigates or Flak will save you.

Not really. We aren't getting new content. Bug fixes and technical support: We are perfectly within our rights to expect something that we bought that turns out broken to be fixed for free (or replaced free of charge) by the vendor. Whatever new stuff is offered to us, expansions and whatever, we pay for. So no, I am not going to buy a broken item and then kiss the feet of the guy for being nice enough to sell it to me at all in the first place. I'm going to c

How's the White Dot Problem coming? Apparently it's been reported for at least 6 months.
If you're gaming, go Dual Core. They're far easier to overclock too, if that's your thing. Quads, for now, are only for major multitasking, like what Regicide did. Games aren't taking advantage of quads right now; they're barely taking advantage of duals as it is. (Most of the load is still placed on the first core, and less places on the second, and if you have more cores than that they aren't used at all.) Overall, Duals for gaming and overclocking; Quads for major multitas

I find this strange. Up until now I've been able to host games on every other RTS game without incident. From what I understand, most everyone could. Now I come to Sins of a Solar Empire and it's a project to be able to host a game. As someone said, a game that sold 500,000 copies shouldn't be peaking at 100 players online at one time, once or twice a week. It's everything. It's Impulse, disconnects, bugs, desyncs, crashes, minidumps, glitches, not verifying
