Well, I'd happily welcome a change in the way fleet logistics work - I really like the idea of each ship having a certain upkeeping cost - though it'd have to be rather low. Why change the system? Now, sometimes one builds up a large fleet to, say, fend off an invasion or expand quickly, but after this is done, there is no way to undo what has been done, i.e. bringing to upkeep cost to higher levels. My ships' names are heavily influenced by Battlefleet Gothic. My 1st Marza is usually called 'TDN Devastor', followed by ships named 'TDN Desolator' and 'TDN Destruktor'. Sometimes, I rather go giant-esque names, e.g. 'TDN Leviathan', 'TDN Juggernaut' or 'TDN Titan'. As you can probably guess form the names, I mostly play TEC. I've just had my first 'real' game against the AI, beforehand I just explored maps and got to know the tech trees. Let me sum up the game quickly: I used TEC and played for 31 minutes against normal/random AI before I quit. My credits were quite okay, mostly between 1500 and 2000. My metal supplies were alright, also around 1100 to 1500. I was always nearly completely out of crystals, though, mostly not even having 100. I had built two military
