Great to hear!!

Since shift clicking a unit adds many units to the queue, shift right click should remove that many units from a queue. Bonus: add a button to clear queue. Bonus: queue templates
Turns out my RAM is fine. The problem I had was the bios setting, "Multicore enhancement."
I noticed that the top right starting position of Alnilam has no metal deposits. Is this on purpose? None of the other starting positions are bare.
It turns out I had a failing stick of RAM. Removing it didn't fix the problem, but perhaps the saved game is in a bad state due to a bad calculation.
I was playing a single player game that crashed. Luckily there was an autosave seconds before the crash. Unfortunately, the game crashes after loading the save, just as it did the first time. I'm providing it hoping it will help fix a bug. I'm running Escalation 2.03.24984. https://www.jeffshaw.me/AutoSave%203.AshesSave
Ah! I remember now a comment I wanted to post. The progress bars are yellow... on a yellow background. Maybe there is a way to change it, but since I didn't pick yellow, I guess it's the default.
Thanks Ryat, I'm happy to know what sensor rank 2 does.
I've been playing quite a lot of Sins in past couple weeks. I preordered the Diplomacy xpac but I haven't tried the beta. I've been playing the latest version of Entrenchment. I've played TEC exclusively and run into these annoying (not game breaking) things: tec: Scout sensor rank 2, what does it do? Rank 2's tooltip is exactly the same as rank 1's. for killing missions, capitol ships and other high value targets count for as much as light frigates and other low value targ
Looks like youd be all set with either of those processors that you linked.
Make sure your RAM and video card aren't bottlenecks. How much ram do you have? What is your video card? As ubersmurf said, make sure your motherboard supports whatever processor you decide to get. CPU-Z can help you get your motherboard model name or number. Google can help you find everything. PS if you're using your motherboard on-board video, definitely buy a new video card instead of a new CPU.
MannanMackie 's idea above is excellent.
$5 for shipping cost (eg priority mail) + box + labor, $10 is fair imo
On the windows desktop I leave auto-arrange and sort by name and snap to grid on. I don't get these options in the right-click menu for fences. On the other hand, I love fences for helping me keep my desktop tidy! Please give Fences the ability to autoarrange icons. Thanks!!! Jeff
Overpowerdness is annoying if is too easy to achieve, but since Demigod games are meant to be relatively short, doesn't it make sense that eventually someone should be able to difinitively end the game (eg by becoming overpowered)?
Why get an 8400 when you can get a 9400 for the same price? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814141082
(by stiff I mean when using the keyboard to move the camera)
1. The camera is too stiff. A little accelaration at the beginning and end of camera movements would give the game a more elegant feel. An example of this being well done is the game Darwinia (also Multiwinia). 2. Tab should move the cursor between text fields. 3. In the password text field, tab should not produce visible text (for me it shows a box with an X in it). 4. The text in the password text field should be masked.
