i think that there needs to be an Empire window that is a page that shows all of the stats of your empire such as number of planets you control along with each one's allegience and other stats; income of credits, metal, and crystal; number of all ships (and types of ships) that you control; and other empire management stuff like that. All of this info would be one one or two pages, not just on the HUD

if you were to rearrange all of the pre-made maps correctly, you will find a picture of Chuck Norris' face

perhaps it works like a phase inhibiter, all of the junk would take enemy ships longer to phase jump. or...junk could be a discovery only available to junk planets...with the same effect as the phase inihib.
