well, we have to keep in mind that if we would like this faction to be in the game, then we cant add new content that no one else can use (the Advent cant use junk). making stuff that only applies to one faction makes the game unbalanced (i should know, im a modder). what if the ripper and salvager units were the same thing? you build a salvager and it is encompassed with rippers. The rippers would heal it with wreakages, while the salvager would protect the rippers.
