I like it, however I have several issues with it: 1. the viper looks, well odd, the version in the regular mod is much more realistic looking. 2. I like how the galactica finally has dorsal turrets and fires from them but the ship's model looks too short and is also less realistic than the version in the regualar mod. I do think that the weapons fire does look a bit better in larkis's than the regular one. How come there's no cylon ships?

I have a bit of an off-topic question: I downloaded the particle effects program and extracted it to the root sins directory, but when I started it, an error message came up saying the the program has encountered a problem and must close. I've followed all of the instructions I've found elsewhere (put in main directory, have the most current framework), but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

It does seem to me that it would be a bit more realistic for a starbase to have more than just 8 abilities.

The general shape is ok, maybe just round off the sharp tips and edges a bit? So that it looks a bit more organic, like the regular baseship is.
I wanted to add something to the bug list: The galactica's new autocannon sound does not work.

I saw what you are saying. everyone's seen what the pegasus's gunfire looks like, would it be possible to change the current effect to look more like that; or more bsg like in general?
ya I agree with you, the galactica barely fires any autocannons when compared to the amount of missiles it fires. I wonder what else could be done to improve the weapon effects. They're good but I think there's room for improvement. For instance, if you see how the Pegasus's guns shoot in the show, they look nothing like the ones in the mod. Any thoughts?
combined anti-fighter/anti-ship seems to work well enough in SOGE.
would it throw off the mod's balance if you added an anti-fighter capability to the berzerk escort? It wouldn't be as powerful as a flak berzerk but it would still be able to destroy some fighters.
I still think they could do with being a little more resilient.
I was thinking, frigates and cruisers in the mod are way too weak; they have good guns and armor but weak hulls. I find myself only using berzerk escorts and battlestars in the game because I'm tired of constantly losing all of my smaller ships in one battle. Any opinions?
I don't really like the idea of mixing RDM and TOS. They're both just too different.

I found a website with about 35, canon and non-canon, ship drawings from battlestar galactica. They are very detailed and could possibly be used as a basis for new ship models in the game. Is it against the Forum rules to post web addresses?
