Well, if you think about it, the resource idea is actually reasonable if you pioneer dies. Given that some pioneers were sent out and disappeared with no news of a new city ever coming back, then people would balk at becoming pioneers. I'd probably go with four season (so, new pioneer each year, if Element has four-season years). Could even add a city enchantment (maybe pioneering drive/conscription (kingdom/empire respectively)). Or a building (Recruiter's Office?). Or attach

It's like the overly attached girlfriend meme: "You're going to turn down my peace treaty? We'll I'll just put a volcano in your city!" Also, on a side note, any guides for creating classes? Kinda tempted to create two classes based on both halves of the Commander tree. (With the intent that, at first anyways, they'd function with this mod).

I'm of the opinion that the paladin-type would be more interesting from a fluff standpoint, treat him as one of her elite captains that she sent out to recruit more soldiers/fight back against the darkness. As a third option, maybe have the Healer hero with minor paladin back up units.

I don't think there's any spears (though, it could possibly be an interesting weapon). Definitely an RTS, as basebuilding plays a large role in both your economy and your army size.

The lighting definitely adds quite a bit to the looks. Also, would it be possible to get a player-level shot of a blue sector (similar to the red one you already have)? It looks like the (what I assume is) mapmaker shot doesn't do it nearly as much justice.

I do know about the ability to rename them; it was more a question of curiosity more than anything. (It'd also be nice to set whether or not you're fighting serious/silly/mixed name mechs).

I'm wondering now... Is it possible to add an option that controls what style of names the generator produces? (Like Serious names only, Funny names only or a general mix of serious and funny.)

I think Raptor would be a good enough name for a flying class, given that birds of prey are generally called raptors as well.

Hmm... On that train of thought: instead of a temporary buff, maybe a passive with a percent chance of successfully reviving the mech.? Secondary Systems: (X%) chance that, instead of destruction, the mech regains (X%) health. (Maybe have the chance and health restored affected by the rarity of the part?)

A few other ideas: Flight pack - enables limited flight, but disables weapons while in-flight. Requires a cooldown before flying again. (Would allow for sneak attacks or getting the heck outta Dodge, for example) Artillery Mode - the servo deploys into an immobile artillery unit, enabling slow, but powerful attacks at extreme range. Disables main weapons and movement while active. (Good for clearing away defenses, but also requires the servo to be defended while

"Drone Combat Software" - grants a damage bonus to drones at the expense of defense or speed. "Draw Aggro Software" - draws attention of nearby enemies with a defense bonus to the Servo that uses it. "Combat Leadership Software" - boosts nearby allies (servos/drones/both) with a minor boost to speed, defense, and attack. "Constructor Software" - boost build speed of structures while the servo is nearby.
building more Servos to look like my models!
So...does this mean there'll be samurai/gundam-esque servo parts? 'Cause I could totally go for that.

I've actually been thinking about a new class (but...I've got almost zero ability to do XML) that's inspired by the Paladin, in that it's essentially a multi-class combining Warrior and the combat portion of Commander. Maybe with a minor magical portion and boni trending to being in a larger group. And instead of a specific weapon, give a smaller bonus to wielding one handed weapons. Thoughts on this being that an Officer would be a skilled soldier, a co
