Instead of auto-scuttling your real labs, make it so that the orbital labs and the shipboard labs aren't cumulative. That way, if you only have one or two capital ships, you won't be forcibly down-teched, but you'll have a bit of an investment in ships to make before you can continue teching. I got yelled at for calling this a bug and I guess its not really a bug but it is very annoying and I consider it a slight lazyness on the part of the programmers. For the record I have played alot of rts's and none of them functioned this way. Please improve the system after bugs and balance are taken care of.

We should have this thread locked before the troll reviewers see it!!! On a more serious note, I thought this got fixed a while ago...we even talked about it because I wanted to know how many "militia/pirate" players you could have and how TAR determined who was friend and who was to be ignored...
<p

It will be automatic if you have the beta running now, once the game goes live there will be an update and you will have the full game. That is assuming you have not turned off auto updates.

People who wish to rely 100% on the Devs are the ones who will sink. People who realize the Devs will never perfect the game like we all want them to and attempt to do their jobs for them, like most of the modders do, might I add, are the ones who shall swim.
Amen [e d

I mean if your trying to convince others to come play with you through hate posts and hate mail then that won't work. Comp-stomps allow people to rank up there experience or skill level in strategic executions but their micro can only be improved vs human players. Its still fun to play as you get comfortable with the game and enjoy watching replays t
Edge scrolling is the far more intuitive way of moving around. It's how people new to the game are going to do it, because the idea that I should go left by zooming is not going to dawn on people. It's a really not-obvious way of doing things. For that reason alone it needs fixing before release.
Please think about what you said because it really does not make any sense whatsoever. I have been playin
Faced with eminent extinction, the TEC would retreat behind their walls and Nova bombard like never before. Using the Deliverance Engine, the AR would probably attempt to keep morale high among allies and the mastery of life and death would likely make them an ally that the TEC would welcome as the fallen could be revived. As for the VR, I get the feeling that they'd be the first to improve their superweapon, scrapping the phas
@ wbino Then you adapt to this strategy by creating traps along the way, traps that could really hurt their kill fleet. Your titan retreats, you kill scouts... You counter engame bomber spam with LF spam, in the hundreds. Watch those carriers pop! Make them come through your territory if they get so crazed to kill your titan 2.0. Then, if you have them in a trap, you can warp your titan on another

Na you don't need to be genius to solve the corrosion issue. You would have to store the gun internally(in a specially sealed, water free environment using a demoisturizer to limit co
