Might there be something wrong with the Advent star base? In my games it doesnt turn to face enemy fleets as it used to in the Beta versions of Entrenchment, it is usually stuck facing away somehow. I'm not sure if this actually impacts gameplay or damage output or anything, just seems like it might be a bug. Maybe I'm placing it too close to other objects?

Good ideas to me, I generally auto place structures in the late game or in planets that are fairly far behind my front lines. The only thing to worry about as far as the computer attacking buildings is that some of the pirate ships go specifically for trade ports/trade ships (and refinery ships/buildings) and will bypass everything else. Since I play Entrenchment only I tend to build a starbase at the front of the planet and put my most vulnerable structures there so they are heav
Not sure if anyone has posted this idea yet, I didnt get to read all of them. I think each faction should get some sort of flak turret on par with their regular anti-frigate turrents. While the TEC get flak turret upgrades to their hangar defense structures (late-ish in the game) these are sadly under ranged and useless since they basically only protect the hangar. I think each faction should have some sort of anti strike craft turret they can build, maybe it could be fairly
lol it "somewhat negates". like i said im not bashing any faction in any way, i personally love the vasari. all im saying is that in my humble opinion the other factions should get some sort of SB bonus whether its increased range or whatever. im not looking at it from a TEC vs Vasari standpoint or an Advent vs Vasari standpoint, just from the view that overall the Vasari SB has some major advantages over the other factions SB's that in my
Just wanted to put this out there as an issue ive been having with the Entrenchment Beta. Lots of minidumps even while playing just on my computer against computer opponents. also, online games have been getting lost along the way, all of a sudden my friend and i haven't been playing the same game anymore. enemy units are in different spots and a few other issues. bug maybe? just putting it out there as a possible issue
not trying to start an arguement it was just an observation. on that note, what i was going by is the SB's overall fully upgraded stats. while yes it may not be oh so useful against structures, it is also prohibitively hard to use one in that capacity. that aside, a fully upgraded vasari starbase has four health and shield upgrades as well as the frontal shield upgrade. all told i have had a vasari SB with 20,000+ health, something none of the other SB's can match.&nbs
Is it just me or do the vasari have a bit of a ridiculous advantage where thier starbase is concerned? It can move, has insane damage reduction and repair abilities, can be built earlier, and has far more hull points and shield points than any of the others. Yes I suppose its weapon capabilities are a little lower than the other starbases but not enough to make a difference. Also, the lack of long range structure killing ships in the Vasari fleet doesnt matter, all the other starb
