Great explanation and example here. For example, an eco player on a team could Titan up and capture his fleet while building economy. What we need now are people starting to make Rebellion-specific maps that are extremely well
They usually don't put things on sale. They do offer discounts to loyal purchasers though... Rebellion being discounted to those who had the original, for example. I prefer them keeping their prices lower, as apposed to having them high usually, and putting a sale out for a few days.
Wow. That map... I've done a map like that for my lore in Distant Stars Mod... but I had to break out sections of it to actually play it. You will need to do the same, I'm sure. Good luck
I have a Diplomacy update out already, Entrenchment is just a couple of minor menu things so won't take much effort to get that up to snuff, Vanilla is taking a little bit of time to clean up, which as Ryat said earlier isn't all that plentiful. I've also updated all of the galaxy files to version 4, updated the meshes, updated the stars and planets, and some of the abilities for Rebellion, though since I don't have Rebelli

I like the first tech being only military labs for ships, then the second (and more expensive) tech to be for the civilian labs. There, now the Vas can be full mobile, and the high tech advantage with moving SttC to tech level 8 will both be dealt with. Win Win :)
Last one for today....
nice! ive got some competition now! keep it up! p.s. there are some artifacts around the logo but its good! is that strip to the core? did u use a stock image for the background? or u made it?
Yeah, the logo was enlarged and had a bit of blurring around it... I'll see if I can fix it a bit later. I'm just pumping these out for fun right now :) <
Well here is the first of many....
You've inspired me sir.... I shall add some of my own works to this forthcoming. [e digicons][/e]
... I think these very strong techs are designed to herald the end game one way or another. Of course they're going to be extremely hard to deal with.
And here is my argument for most of the balance issues right now. Its all END GAME tech. The only problems I have with some of the races techs is they are not set into the tech tree
I still think you all are over-reacting.... Volt hit on the main issue ---> ship labs. If SttC is moved to tier 8, and ship labs are halved, I think all the other issues are gone. Messing with the strip amount, canceling, ect. is a BAD idea. This is the Loyalists remember... they want to GTFO as soon as possible. Being mobile is how the faction works, so don't nerf it into oblivion.
In Rebalanced Races, I nerfed it by nerfing Shipboard labs from 1/2 labs to .2/.4/.6/.8 labs, thereby slowing the upgrade chain.
What about moving it to tier 8? Wouldn't that force the player to have a riskier build to try and tech that high? Even with labs, the amount of cash to get there will seriously hurt their fleet and defenses...
Almost all the races have an end game tech that is very, VERY strong. It is the end game..... So I don't see what the problem is. If a player is turtled up, use superweapons. I think the real problem is that superweapons have been nerfed too hard for some races. The superweapon is the answer to many of these imbalances... I think I need to make my own post for all this..... cause so many people are taking way to large of a NE
Given how powerful the ability is now, I've put together a list of changes that I think could make this ability work without being worthless: 1 Make Mobile Rulership require Vorastra Prototype IV 2 The Vorastra must be present for the full duration of Strip for it to work 3 Using Strip takes 10 minutes. There is a high-cost tier 8 tech reducing it to 8->6 minutes 4 Initiating a Strip reveals and highlights the planet to all p
Its AMISH!!!! Yeah~! Welcome back good sir. Good to see a great tactician on balance back in the saddle.
And steam having an offline mode..... nullifies most arguments. Time to get with the times I say :) And btw, I can not wait for DS to go rebellion !
