My only complaint with particles is that they seem to have a very low spawn count. I had a half full fleet attacking, and triggered an effect on my titan, and the effects didn't generate.... looked... bleh. Anyone else notice the low particle count ?

I don't really care what weapons seem to look like their doing the damage, I just know it has no trouble killing things, which is fine by me. Also the fact all of its abilities rely on the railgun is something to consider. I normally play Advent, so

Absolutely? Your statement right after that, however, is very true.&nb

I'm not a big fan of the starfish shape.... If modding is improved in this release, I think I'm going to make that planet eating ship in Sins. I'll just fold it legs in front and leave a nice big mouth to chew on planets for afar [e digicons]:(O[/e]

We will need to organize some ship testing matches too... Just to test changes made to existing ships, and the capabilities of the new ones. I'm curious to see what the break point is of the Titans vs Starbase. I also want to see how much fleet supply would be needed to take one down... to benchmark the strength to cost/time analysis. It would be hard to do that in just a FFA spam fest match. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]

[quote who="the_Monk" reply="101" id="3087850"] 1. As the DEVS stated even back then; their game was being mostly played SP or offline and not on ICO. 2. I believe that was in part due to the difficulties hosting (initially.......pre-Alloy). 3. I also believe due to the lack of any DRM at all that many, many and oh did I say many people chose to play SINS as a LAN-party game where a bunch of people get together share it around and get busy.<

That "teaser" should have been drawn differently to illustrate the shear difference over time.... And I think it is even sharper a curve than that. Its simply incredible.
