advent have huge strike craft reserves... tbh, if you read all the mentions of the adjudicator, it is described as more of a turret killer than starbase killer, though it can kill stationary starbases alright (except the meteor throwing ones).

"A power surge of great magnitude has been detected." Well, in a world(s) where it costs FAR too much to place a simple surge protector in Crew member's consoles (BSG, Star Trek, etc.) i can see how this could be causing the issue.

Infocards would take up the whole screen...and Sins is not about specifics of every little autocannon of every little Kol... There is simply too much information in Sins to push in every little detail about every little ship, play even one game and mess around with every ship and you will understand them...Or if you're really stat hungry dig through the entity files. No player wants to be spammed with all that information.

It's not called 'Charitable Acts of a Solar Empire' LULZ!!!11 you can turn off planet elevators if you don't like seeing them exploding... as for slaughtering civillians... every frigate has as much crew as the planets have population, with the exception of terran planets.

couple of things about deliverance: 1. Takes a little bit for the effect to kick in. at least pre-entrenchment anyhow 2. Strips enemy of culture bonus 3. provides own culture bonus + 25% damage bonus i belive, +-5%. I once fired like a dozen deliverance cannons into a star system. Burned out thier culture for like 15 minutes.

Teal makes some good points. and interestingly enough, meteor storm is counterable---yes, it has 15000 range, but the area in which it affects adjacent units is only 4000 i believe. I think its supposed to go up to 6000 for level 2 but if the damage is any indication... so spread out your torp ships, maybe either manually or loose fleet cohesion might be good. The only issue here is vasari SB, i don't know how it can take on all those beam platforms + SB throwing meteors. mayb

the devs have done a good job with creating a counter every possible strategy except for just sheer numbers in a fleet. I'm suggesting that there should be temporary income tax or fleet performance penalty when you have a very large number of ships in a single gravity well. the tax or penalty should not be game ruining but enough to discourage massive fleet at one world. I believe its called upkeep. and if you lose your 2000 supply fleet and are eating a 75% upkeep rate

and nuke half the frigates in orbit? i think it would be nice if they had a semi-expensive sensor ping you can use from the planet if you have it colonized to reveal all mines in orbit. maybe somehow pay a little extra and get them all destroyed.
