Right now, entrenchment is part of diplomacy, will this always be the case? or can we play original/diplomacy? And does that mean that as entrenchment changes that will updated in diplomacy or will we see more patches/updates that say (entrenchment only, diplomacy only)
Technically they said no more micro expansions. So I am looking forward to major expansions.
How do you do anything? I thought i could do some tests between ships and whatnot, and i dont want to find a partner when i get the urge.
One thing I noticed (we need a coherent thread for real suggestions) I would like the envoy cruisers to be on a different selectable tier. The way that colony ships and starbase cruisers are. I was playing the computer and i kept slecting all and making my envoys leave the immediate area where they were subverting. so yeah, take them out of "combat" and put them into "something else"
Yah, but they take as long to make as capital ship. Which means you had better not need that firgate factory for anything for over a minute.

sabotage: all ships created at this planet have a slower passive regeneration rate, or some other nerf. corruption: planetary improvements cost so and so more, or can be removed. can you imagine if you could spend some credits to erase someones population upgrades without them knowing. abruptly they are losing money without even knowing! My present thoughts on this (And I have certainly bitched enough about it) Either make mines weaker/smaller but in far greater number, or make them larger with larget aoe. They need to cover more ground. I do think that a mine should be able to take a frigate with one explosion, or at least cripple it with only one explosion. maybe it have them hurt certain kinds of armor more. Another note: WHen the embassy is created... there was nothing to show that it had been. No little icon in the data card, or symbol or anything. Auto cast didnt even turn grey or have the traditional yellow border that colonize gets.
How do I used the Dev.exe files. Do they do anything different than playing the game in regular mode?
I haven't had much of a chance to play, but I started up a few games to check out everyone's tech tree. Looks like advent get another little boost by only needing 4 labs. But that, again, might go along with not having all the abilities unlocked for the beta. Maybe Vasari gets something super effing exciting! I think the TEC envoy looks a like thos popsicles that come in a pair... cept 4 of them. or I may refer to it as a corndog cruiser.

My only issue with the scuttle button is that it is so small and poorly placed. I frequently have to click again since i managed to hit the HUD picture.

I recently jumped on to MP play (as some of you may have noticed). I have been rocked pretty much nonstop (due to poor micro / lousy gameplay / quitter teammates) but i will say that I got destroyed faster and harder playing as Vas than any other (I play on random). You really do have to be massively skilled on micro to get your fleet doing much of anything compared to an equal fleet of any other race, even if you are playing an epic noob (ahem, me).
