Hi. I use 50-50% when the opponent has strong strike craft capacity (even higher ratio of fighters when I start building strike craft significanty later), if I am the superior one and I dont need to field large amounts of fighters, then I start to increase number of bomber squads. Against AI it was not unlikely for me to have even 80% bombers and only 20% fighters. Bombers in general are better against more things than fighters, a large bombers swarm can easily remove t

Awesome film I love it. Almost everything, science stuff, action, emotional part at the end that almost made me cry like a bitch, the music. aahh good memories :) WARNING: all the stuff below could not ruin the film for me. I just feel it to be unnecessary to analyse the whole film and all the good stuff as I don't want to discucc those.. It was quite easy to understand the whole film, I don't understand people who say it's too complicated or somethi
You actually can save multiplayer games.
But loading them is another question.. Gather everyone again for it at the same time is not always easy.
Against AI? Whatever you want.. The AI is so inefficient you can easily defeat it with basically any kind of spam, light frigates, corvettes, carriers, lrms, kodiaks, whatever. All you need to know what ships does he have, if he has 100 lrms you don't want to build many light frigates, and so on. Spam means build as many of 1 or 2 types as you can, composition (x% + y%) depends on the opponent's composition. An example: build as many carriers as you can while being abl
I have heard some people say the hard AIs but all be on a team against you.
If it was true I wouldn't have the achievement myself. I definitely remember me doing it with FFA, unlocked teams.
Try to do it again... If your next game is not successful either, then there may be some problems. And do it with unlocked teams, just to be safe. And without allied victory, as it has no meaning here. This should solve it. BTW, what is that achievement again? win against 4 hard AI players? or 5? I don't remember that one, but if it says do it against 5 AI's then maybe theres your problem, if not, then nvm. I had similar problems with achievements on Steam, but usuall
If you just QUIT from a lost game instead of SURRENDER and quit after this, you will not have a loss in your record. So quit=nothing, surrender or defeat=one loss.
As a TEC Rebel if you research the next research item after the one that makes you allied with neutral forces, you should be able to get several Pirate ships for 5000 credits from your broadcast centers. You must be doing something wrong.
Oh, and that 64 bit thing is a bit weird, this game is designed to be 32, there cannot be a 64 bit update, I think you misunderstood something there.
Updates are automatically downloaded via Steam, or can be easily acquired i guess in the game somehow (it was very long ago I used Trinity). But be aware Trinity is no longer upgraded, there is a "final version" for it, maybe you already have it?
I don't think the future is this dark, the community survived so many years it won't die soon I guess. Remember to do this in a loaded mod though: it's better to co

First of all I don't really know anything about statistics, I just use my common sense here. From the Skirantra line my guess would be that from the next game 0 or 1 Skirantras will be built, and not the supposed one or two. Vasari Rebel tests are finished, updating OP now. To be honest I don't think the other factions would have a very different outcome than this, but I will make these tests for Advent Loyalist to see if I'm right.

I think reality is more like what each AI DOES NOT BUILD too often (have significantly lower weight), while the other 5 capital ships all have the same weight.
I did another round, now with TEC Loyalist, to see if they have anything interesting, well, they had. The results are in the updated OP.

After someone mentioned he thinks the AI prioritizes colony capital ships over the other types I decided to try it. 10 player FFA with 9 AI's on huge single random map, no teams, all normal difficulty. Basically I just started several games, waited till AI's got their capital ships built, surrendered but not quitted, and counted them, and quit after this. I was using Advent rebels for the test whether there is correlation between AI type and starter capital ship or not
