I think that its a good idea, but if you had a huge Empire you might end up getting bogged down with completing those sorts of missions instead of trying to fight off your enemys. But it would be nice to be able to go even further into the workings of an Empire.
What about some ships from the X-tended mod? Would they let you borrow some? (I really like their Terran ships...) [e digicons]:P[/e]

As much as I like all of the new diplomatic options that it gave, I still had a diplomatic system that was similar to the Total War series or perhaps Sid Meiers Civilization in my mind. Where you maybe had to send a diplomat to negotiate deals with other races and convince each other to Open Borders, Peace Treaties etc. While the TW and Civ Series are turn-based I thought that they might create a Real-time version for it. But apart from that I didn't have many other issues with the

I had a thought last night about how limited aggressive expansions are in the game; you have bombarding and culture influence, and not many choices when it comes to relieving an enemy of his worlds.[e digicons]:P[/e] I was wondering if it would be possible to add an invasion element to Sins? It might mean adding a new ship to facilitate that or a new ability to an existing colony ship, but if you could control the invasion yourself, like having buttons to order the invasion force

I'm completly new at modding so I just want to say that this guide has been fantastic for me, was wondering though Is there a complex walkthrough on how to add new races and put in custom ships from scratch etc? I know it would be a bit of a pain but I'd love to know what all the lines in the entity files do and how to get the files to work with each other. Thanks a bundle. [e digicons]:grin:[/e]
Im getting the same problem, although I am using Entrenchment V1.05 instead. I deleted the GS_Ship.fx file because I was getting the invisible ship thing too, and now the game is freezing at about 15 mins in. Though tbh it could have been freezing before I deleted the file, I just didn't play a long enough game before. Anyone got any ideas? Many thanks. [e digicons]:)[/e]

I agree with the EVE idea, i have never played it but the ships look amazing. I also thought about making stuff based on the Saga of Seven Suns by Kevin J Anderson, but I didn't want to design the ships and ruin the imagination. Also I'm very new to this and it probably wouldn't come out to well...[e digicons]:P[/e]
I think that this would be great to see in the game. Its a shame that Mithis didn't continue the Nexus universe with a sequal or even an expansion, and now they're gone.
