I think that when the Titan explodes it should rip the space-time continuum exposing a rift to an alternate universe where 16 new races and thousands of new ships are introduced.
I've played the AI many times now from normal to vicious. A couple of things puzzle me... 1. "Tandem Corporation has been defeated"...oh ok...they still have 13 planets, 8 caps and a Titan. WTF? Once you get that message they give up and you kick their butts. Why can't they fight like crazy till the bitter end? 2. The AI (even on vicious) will not attack you. I would like to see some hidden things created. Right now it is very scripted. Go to this planet and more phase lines appear. It would be neat to have hidden things to look for like black holes or something where you find items or special abilities (make it worth looking for).
I played both factions on normal AI just to get a feel for what was new and couldn't get the enemies to attack me or even expand their empires beyond 3 or so planets. I like the Advent Rapture capital Ship. When you get to level 6 you can use the Domination ability and convert enemy ships to your own. I just completed a game to test how many ships you could convert and got a fleet size over 6000. I used 16 Rapture capital ships and would go into a battle and convert their entire fleet and destroy what couldn't be converted. I only needed to fleet upgrade enough to be able to create e
